Rated 5 out of 5 by MACFRANK2011 EXCELLENT ATOMIC WALL CLOCK This is an extraordinary Atomic Wall Clock.Is it very clear, the Hour Digits are app. 2" tall.The Date and Temperature Digits are app. 1.5" tall.You can see the Clock from a reasonable distance.The setting is very simple, Insert the batter the 2 AA batteries and let it set itself in 24 hours, or manually set it and let it run. It provides 12/24 hours format, Centigrade or Fahrenheit Temperature Degrees. U.S. Time Zone selection, ET, CT,MT or PT. Daylight Savings time automatically update, so you do not have to re-set every time. It has a Date Calendar which shows at all times the Date, Month and Day of the Week. You can Wall hang or stand by itself, which is an advantage to other clock I researched. I highly RECOMMEND IT. 06/11/2011

Especially great for folks who do not like the tick tock sound of a clock or the light that comes from the digital clocks that you plug in (who love it pitch black while sleeping). Esp. helpful in a room not often used in which you don't want anything plugged into the outlets. Or a kids room to monitor their rooms climate (don't hang it up too high since heat rises - you want accurate indoor temperature reading close to seating, sleeping, or eye level). It also has tiny leg rests that pull out for use on a table or shelf. 02/12/2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by brickhead alzheimers moments When I started having too many "senior moments', I remembered something I read about coping with alzheimers. The book I read suggested coping with some of the symptoms of alzheimers by fighting back with large letter clocks and such. So I got this atomic clock with the day of the week and indoor temperature etc. I was a little surprised at how flimsy it seemed when it arrived. But once I got it to do its thing all was forgiven. If you put it near a window and away from the TV and such it sets all its readings at once. Also we're prone to hurricanes here and it keeps on working with the electricity off. I got one for my grandson and son-in-law too. I love it. 06/14/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by OlympicAthlete EXCELLENT choice all the way around. Yes - EXCELLENT. I've had other atomic clocks, and this one is much easier to set up - quick and easy! GREAT PRICE, and it LOOKS GOOD too. Costco and Sam's didn't have anything better - or less expensive. I was looking for aesthetics, easy to set up, and low price - got all that in this clock. I'm ordering more now that I've experienced this one. The only thing this guy is missing is the outdoor temperature reading, which I had on another clock. If you don't need that option, then this is your puppy. 05/30/2011
