    Great for the Money I bought this as a b-day gift for myself after doing a lot of research. I almost bought the Sony S570, but it's $25 more, and I don't see myself needing 3D in the next 3-5 years. This machine has a built in wireless card, so you can connect right away. We love the Netflix feature, and it's much easier using the remote, than doing it on the Wii, plus the thumbnails are much bigger and sharper. This machine is more like a media host than just a Blu-Ray player. You can even connect wirelessly (or wired) to your PC, and look at your photos, videos, etc. The front USB port is cool, because you can put Divx, AVI, M2V, etc., files on your thumb drive and play them directly. I also tried connecting a 320 GB USB hard drive to it, and that worked too! It does a great job up-scaling regular DVDs, so I won't be in a hurry to get a bunch of Blu-Ray discs. Great product.Caveats: You will need at least a 5MB internet connection or Netflix will constantly have to re-buffer your video. Wireless speed can be spotty; you can connect via Cat5 connection on back as well. Remote sometimes lags when using it for wireless functions, especially viewing video on your PC, better to put them on a thumb drive or USB hard drive and just plug it in the front USB port. 06/08/2010
    LG BD570 Blu-ray Rocks I'm not very tech savvy. I'm average to fair on a computer and I know how to text and that's about it. I bought this LG Player after a very long search process in which I must have read 40-50 reviews at several different sites, including some good tech sites recommended by my IT friends. This had the features I was looking for, had overall excellent reviews, and appeared to be user friendly based on the reviews I read. I was looking forward to being able to watch bluray and dvd at a high quality, and the wifi capability was tops on my list. Within 20 minutes of this arriving at my house I had it hooked up, connected to my wifi and was exploring the options. There are many, and it rocks! I love being able to access my pandora account. But the very best thing is the instant watch Netflix. Quick download, a huge selection of movies to watch anytime, and the quality is great. And I barely have to lift a finger. Oh, and did I mention how awesome it is to hook up my USB and view my photos, music videos, and downloaded movies- no muss, no fuss. This BluRay is a thing of beauty. I've had it about six weeks now and I do not have a negative thing to say about it. Go buy one. Right now. You won't be sorry. 08/16/2010
