    Rated 4.3 out of 5★ by 69reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by My 7 year old son is a Star Wars fanatic and really loves this set. Just like in the movie this set allows the Ewoks to set up traps. My son really enjoys this feature because it takes the fun beyond the building part. Great set! 12/26/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by This is a Christmas gift for my Grandson. Got it in a bundle deal and so a good price. Am sure he will enjoy it. 11/26/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Tree of Death Time for a review of a menacing set: 7956 Ewok Attack. When I first asked for this set, I really only wanted it so it could go along with my Endor Bunker. But after I had built it, I was pretty happy I asked for it. This set's pretty funny too. That Scout Trooper is going to circle that tree a few times until you finally release a trap at the right time to hit him and after THAT you may need to hit him a few times to make sure he's down for the count. No, this set's pretty cool even if it is a little over-priced(But just by $5 US.). The Ewok figures are, of course, exclusive to this set and they're pretty nice figs to add to your collection. The Scout's just so-so. The speeder design is nice and hopefully LEGO will stop making so many variations.... The tree is... average. I mean, on one hand it's got a lot of booby traps and on the other hand, it's not exactly the gigantic trees I remember in Episode VI. This error was also in the Forbidden Forest HP set and, not to sound like a broken record, but LEGO has issues in making trees. Just sayin'. Pros and Cons time!Pros:All figures are nice.(Maybe add a Stormie or a Rebel Trooper for the price.)Speeder Bike design.Tree's various traps.(This set has more play features than a lot of large sets and only has one Flick-Fire missle.)Cons:Price.(This is starting to become an issue in a lot of sets.)Conclusion: This set is not exactly a must-have but it's still something fun to build that will keep you occupied for hours(If not, the ten minutes it takes to build it.).-Keep on Building! 01/01/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by My only Ewok set from our son: "The Ewok attack is one of my favorite Star Wars sets. I really like the hidden storage space and launching catapult. The falling logs can crush the Endor trooper which is just like the movie. The retractable ladder won't let the Endor trooper capture the Ewoks which is a good thing, and I like the colors and the leaves. Also, the Endor trooper's speeder bike is very cool." 01/01/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Some neat tricks I had to get this set because I bought the Battle of Endor set when it first came out, and have been pining for more Ewoks ever since. Needless to say, the minifigures in this set are awesome. For such a small amount of pieces, there are a surprising number of functions including the rolling logs, catapult, trip wire thing and a hiding place.I really like the speeder bike. They added a little technic piece at the end of the forward prongs to hold them together which is an awesome idea. My friends played with my other speeder bike and bent the prongs outward by crashing it into the leg of a chair. With the added technic piece in this set that won't happen again. Very clever.Somebody else expressed their disappointment that the scout trooper doesn't have a special gun. I agree. They should have given the Scout Trooper the type of small gun that came with Captain Rex or the Clone Walker Battle Pack. The playability is pretty good, but I think the minifigures are THE reason to get this set. If Ewoks don't tickle your fancy, pass this one up. But then, if Ewoks don't tickle your fancy you're probably not even reading these reviews :) 08/31/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Cheap Ewoks! This is quite a good set. It is a cheap way to get Ewoks, and the tree is great of course. But the playability is not optimal. This is a mere expansion set for Battle of Endor. On it's own the set is quite poor, you really need other sets. I like the many features, but after a while they get boring. This is a real tree that also looks like a tree, not something you can say about every lego tree. There is not much to say, so I'll go on with the pros and cons:[+] Ewoks[+] Scout trooper[+] Speeder bike (new design)[+] Tree looks good[+] many features[=] Price is all right but could be cheaper[-] Bad playability without other setsAs you can see, there are more pros and cons so it is worth the price, but you should consider other sets before you buy it.Starfan79 06/24/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Good accessory to "8038 Battle of Endor" This is a nice set - it's not great, nor will it be memorable, but it is one that looks good and will keep younger children entertained. The main issue I think that most fans will have is the fact that this set is limited in terms of playability - because of it's size, it really works best as an "add on" to a larger set, namely 8038 Battle of Endor. On it's own, it does have some great action features but ultimately, one would get a little bored of it after a while.Minifigures3 in total - 2 Ewoks - absolutely fantastic and worth picking this set up for alone - plus a scout trooper which is another minifigure that is quite rare in the Lego universe. Overall, excellent. 9/10BuildOverall very straightforward and simple. The speeder is constructed in much the same way as previous speeders, whilst the tree has an enjoyable build, utilising it's fair share of large and small pieces. 8/10DesignSpeeder : the speeder is very similar to those in the Battle of Endor - I don't have the latter set so I can't say for sure - but it seems from pictures of 8083 that the only difference is the piece above the controls. Otherwise, this speeder appears to be an exact replica.Tree : absolutely brilliant! In the past, I've never been a fan of Lego constructed trees - the one in Medieval Market Village drove me nuts - but this one is an exception. It has a very smart design - it opens up at the back to allow an Ewok inside - and has several actions features including a flick fire missile, a falling log(s) function as well as the catapult on top and another piece (which is meant to represent another log) that moves in and out of the tree to knock the unsuspecting trooper off his speeder. Overall lots of fun and thumbs up for the designers. In addition, special mention to the two different colors of green used in the construction of the tree - it really adds to the overall appearance of this set! 9/10PricingA little expensive as has been the case of most Star Wars sets. Even though this is a good looking set, it doesn't really stand up well on it's own so $50Aud seems a little steep. 6/10ProblemsOnly one and I've already mentioned it. This set needs 8083 - otherwise, it's just a tree and a speeder - and it becomes boring after a while. I know this because I don't have 8083. In that sense, this set should really be bought to ADD ON to 8083, rather than as a play set on it's own.Overall : very very good. An enjoyable build, smart design, excellent minifigures. Apart from better pricing (and 8083), what more could you want? 8/10 06/05/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by AWESOME LEGO SET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok i have 1 bad thing to say about this set: there should be more than one scout i'm going to talk about the set, it has tons of traps such as: rolling logs come from the top of the tree, hiddin torpedo,a log or what ever that is pushes out 2 push and mybe kill the scout trooper off the speeder bike, and a stone lancher.minifigures:2 ewaks, and a scout trooper.the tree even opens up and an ewak can hide inside!this is not the best ,but 1 of the best lego sets i have ever got!!! 03/02/2012
