I bought this on a whim, because it was so small and inexpensive that it didn't seem like it was making any dent in my wallet. And I was very happily surprised by how much I liked it! The minifigure: The astronaut is really cool. He comes with a blue hat and a space suit. I would not have bought the set if it did not have the space suit/helmet. The helmet has a really cool gold face shield and looks really cool on the minifigure. The hat is just an added bonus. The moon buggy: It is a very simple build, but that isn't a bad thing in this case. It looks like a moon buggy, and it comes with three sets of wheels. The satellite figure comes off pretty easily, but not so easily that it is a great fault in the design. The rock saw is really cool too. Its up and down motion works well, but the side to side motion is a bit stiff. The coolness of it makes up for that though. Overall, great small set. The classic astronaut minifigure is really cool, and an essential lego character to own for any collector or player.

Hello. Althric here, with a review about the Space Moon Buggy. This time, this set only has one minifigure- The Astronaut: He is a nice figure. His head is printed with large eyebrows which has been seen on other LEGO City minifigures, on top of his head he wears a blue cap. The torso has his space suit printed onto it showing the airlock detail and his life support systems. He wears grey gloves and has no printing detail on his white legs. Also, he comes with his giant space helmet with oxygen tank, which has also been used in LEGO Atlantis and LEGO Super Heros. The buggy is a nice model. There are six wheels (3 lots of 2) and the controls are a steering wheel. The astronaut has no seat (but it's not a big problem) and on the back there is a satellite dish. In the set, there is only one feature- the saw at the back for collecting moon rocks. I liked this, a nice feature. 10/10. -Althric

This is another great impulse City set! I might well buy some of the other space sets as a result of getting this. Although the set only contains a few rare parts, the set is very fun and playable, the build is quick and straightforward and the minifigure is brilliant! PROS: -The minifigure is amazing! The helmet/ oxygen tank piece is fantastic and looks great. This is one of the best City minifigures out there at the moment! -The drill attachment is quite clever - it can rotate and you can adjust where the drill is facing very easily. The drill piece itself is quite rare, too. The small dish is a nice bit of detail. -£3.99 for 37 pieces gives this set a piece to price ration of 10.8pence. This makes it a great deal, especially since the minifigure is so detailed. -The instruction manual is quite deatiled at the back, with realy pictures of astronauts and space, with facts as well, as well as the usual pictures and Lego City scenes. CONS: None! This set, then, is a great buy. It's cheep and yet still includes lots of playability and a great minifigure. Even if you only have this set from the Space theme, it will be enough to think up many different storylines! Check out my video review on you tube - search DWSWTW52.

This is my first space set. I got it because I wanted a space set, to see what it was like, and this was the smallest and cheapest one they have. One astronaut isn't enough, so that's why I made a second. This theme is very good becqause there is a whole new world to explore in space and anyone can create different worlds for the astronauts to visit and use aliens from space police sets since both kind of go together. Pros. Realistic feel to the buggie (sattellite dish, six wheels, saw), Of course the very detailed astronaut, Buggie, The price is good Cons. It should have come with moon rock Most people like space sets, so if you do and you don't want to spend money on a bigger set, look into this set. Overall rating: Kids: 6-8 Adults:4-6.8

This set is very cool. If you want to build a lego city with a space stain, I would recommend you to buy at least 3 of these. The space man is like the space men in the other sets. comes with a hat to swich with the space hat which is more realistic. Now for the good and bad parts! :D Pros: Space man with multiple helmets. Buggy that roles and has a saw and robotic arm in the back. Not very breakable. great to have more than 1 of. Cons: satellite is breakible should have a coulple more pieces It is more of an earth buggy or a car that helpes get a space shuttle ready for flight. easy to build for younger children I will rate this a 9 out of 10 I would say the ages that would like the product: 5+ :D Hope this helped! -PTGLego

"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Hi, it's me again (sorry for not having reviewed in quite a while) and this time I'm now reviewing this little moon buggy. It's an exellent take-along toy, and a nice addition to your space sets. Very easy to build, though not as realistic as possible. But anyway, Lego City has its own way, doesn't it? :) Buggy: Three wheels, a super cool arm with a blade for digging, space to put stuff, a sattelite dish (with a con: it can't tilt), and its the exellent size for take-along. But it doesn't have a camera. You can add one yourself--switch the sattelite dish to the other side, attach a camera to one of those arm pieces (not minifig arm! :)) and attach that to one of those 2x0 with an "arm" sticking out the side. Or if you don't have the arm that connects to the camera you can connect the camera to the "arm" in the 2x0 (is 2x0 right?!) by the "holes" on the bottom of the cam. Minifig: The astronaut minifig is probably my favorite one. Terrific face for an astronaut, includes a gold helmet. Overall: Exellent take-along or decoration. Anyone can build this. Cheap, but a little less (like a couple of dollars) would be perfect for it. I hope this review helped you. I will be reviewing the Police Chase very soon. Happy Shopping!

This set is amazing. Tons of playability in one little vehicle. Its a really sturdy model and its good for rough play. Build is really short and its a really good set for younger kids. You get one really cool minifigure. I especially like how it came with a space helmet for him. He is really detailed and I like how his torso is front and back printed. He comes with a blue hat too! When it comes to the moon buggy I have to say its amazing. You have space for the minifigure and the space helmet. On the back of the buggy I love how they designed the chainsaw. Its a must have for your space collection. Definetly a worth one to buy!

So much fun in one tiny little model. Behold the little moon buggy thing! This blew me away and yes I did pretend I was on a space mission. I am now wanting the rocket launch base to go with this well to end how about the pros and cons? PROS: Drill to dig on the moon or any other planets! (Can spin 140 degrees I dont know) A character with the choice to wear either a space helmet for his actual mission or his baseball cap before he blasts off. Fun fun fun! CONS: The satelite may be detailed but it can fall off the buggy. Overall it made me have fun and can't wait for my rocket launch on my b-day. Bye! From reviews4you

I got this set along with the space centre and satellite launch set. I found this set extremely easy to build, anyone can build it. A cheap and cheerful buy for almost any Lego fan of any age. Even if your just bumping up your collection on your model shelf, or are a young child or a teenager. I think this set suits everyone. Includes a highly detailed astronaut mini-figure NASA blue cap, breathing "SPACE" suit and of course a very cool buggy. Need to pick up a sample of moon rock?? Well, buy one of these and blast your Lego Neil Armstrong wanna' be into space. Such a little set, such a lot of play!
