Rated 5 out of 5★ by conn4554 THIS SET IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would highly reccomend this product. It is excellent for single player play and CHI battles with friends. I had to tape the ramps to the floor to hold them in place but other than that, THIS SET IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! 01/02/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Aldous CHI Battles Review CHI Battles is a very interesting set. The tower is balanced by a ball underneath the trunk, allowing for better gameplay mechanics. The small spinner on the top is remniscent of Ninjago, as it features Sensei Wu's hat. The CHI crystals feature a very new look, which is cool. The individual Speedorz were very well thought out. Both the Defendor IIX and the Huntor W3 had biological and mechanical components in it, making both very cool Speedorz. The backpiece of the Huntor, however, made it misbalanced, compared to the two horns on the Defendor, but still really nice. The two minifigures, Longtooth and Wakz, were very well designed. It would have been better if they both had a chestpiece, but the price would have reached a higher cost. The printing is intricate and detailed to a very fine quality level.Overall, the set is a must-have. Its uniqueness is what makes CHI Battles different from the other Chima sets. 01/16/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Tragi Chi Power! I first got Boulder Bowling to play with on my desk at work. As great as that set is, it only comes with one Speedor. And being at work, stuck in cubicles, people tend to notice if you are having fun. And being semi-selfish, I didn't want to share my LEGO. But then I got paid, and decided to get another set for work. I chose this one because of the fact you get to Speedorz instead of just one for just five dollars more. Now that I had three, I reluctantly agreed to share. It soon became apparent that not all Speedorz are made equal. The Lion and Wolf ones seemed to go faster. Depending on how the 'tail' on the wolf Speedor is positioned depends on how fast and how high it can go.The cards are very detailed. Not only are they fun to stare at, the card game is much more fun than I anticipated, and now I feel like I need to collect the others to build a better deck. Plus, this set comes with 12 Chi pieces, so you can play for a little longer as well.Another game included is with the spinning top. Your opponent spins it, while the other uses their Speedor to try and hit it. This can get pretty entertaining. The other is 'fang-cones.' I'm not sure how to play this one other than to dodge them. It is still fun, though, but definitely my least favorite of the games. The final one is to launch your Speedor off the ramp and hit knock the Chi ball out of the bowl atop the post. It was more fun launching your Speedor off the ramp than the post, but still gratifying when you finally knock it over.Over all, this is a great set. Very entertaining, and very creative. Although it only comes with 93 pieces, I think it is still worth it. The play value, and the inclusion of two Speedorz is well worth it. The two minifigures are pretty cool. Longtooth and Wakz were better than I thought, but still not my favorite. One of the cheapest ways to get a wolf, though. 01/12/2013
