My landscapeing was being washed away everytime it rains. I needed a rain barrel that was functional and looked good to go in my front yard. It's very light weight and easy to move by one person. I'm gonna buy another one to put on the side of my house. Looks great, works perfect and you can't beat the price.

Best rain barrel I found online! The spout is far enough up on the barrel so you can put a bucket underneath. It looks really nice and the price was the lowest price I found online!
Rated 5 out of 5 by sgeffken Great product!
I'm VERY pleased with the features of this rain barrel. The spigot on it looks small in the photo but it will actually allow you to attach a hose. There is also an overflow valve on the back of the barrel at the top and a drain plug at the very bottom to completely empty the barrel. It is a neutral enough color to blend into my landscaping, but an attractive shape if it does get noticed. It is also completely assembled, so all I had to do was cut my gutter to the appropriate height and add a very inexpensive elbow bracket to divert the water into the barrel. We were up and running in no time. I look forward to running my hose to the dry patches in my st. augustine this summer!
Rated 4 out of 5 by LilyNoc10 Seems to be a good product
Although it's winter and we haven't used our rain barrel yet, it's appearance seems to be just as it looked online. The shipping from site to store was seamless and it arrived earlier than anticipated. The price was the best around, beating all other websites by approx. $70 less! The only (small) complaint I have is the spigot already came glued in and they were sloppy with the black glue getting on the front of the barrel. Otherwise, looks great and can't wait to use it in the spring.
Rated 5 out of 5 by bowlingdiva69 I absolutely love this rain barrel. It is very stylish and looks great sandwiched between two bushes on the side of my house. My watering cans fits underneath the faucet perfectly. It is lightweight and came fully assembled. Plan on spending some time measuring and and cutting the downspout. We didn't have to buy anything extra to complete the project.

This is an awesome rain barrel, I love the way it looks in the yard. It also is a fantastic mosquito breeder if un-modified. The solution is to cover the top with a fine screen mesh you can get at hardware stores, or probably at wal-mart too. I just cut the screen in a circle and stapled it to the lid. No more mosquitoes! Makes it harder to get the cover off, but that's a good thing for me with little kids running around. I wish wal-mart carried the 75 gallon one.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jelcur98 Best value on the market
I bought 5 of these. Cost just a little bit more than the ugly blue ones and they come with a brass hose bib instead of a cheap plastic one.
Rated 4 out of 5 by miczarel I ordered this item because I liked the look of it...the others had the "trash" can look! It shocked me that it was "huge"! I like it though! I thought the price could have been a little less, maybe $80-$90 and that inclds tax.

We shopped around for rain barrels at six or seven different home improvement and lawn/garden shops before we found this one online. We knew we'd be putting our barrels in high visibility spots, so we wanted to make sure they were nice to look at. Since most barrels run around $100 but are just a plain green or blue barrel, we were thrilled to find something much nicer looking for only slightly more money. Our only complaint is that the spigot could be lower on the barrel so more water could be emptied after each rainfall, but i think this is probably an issue with all rain barrels. Overall, we are thrilled with the purchase. We have had several friends express 'rain barrel envy' and are so happy to be able to use the water we collect to water our garden for free!

This rainbarrel looks good and is lightweight but looks like stone. Very attractive. I would highly recommend it.

I have a water collection problem near my sun room. I have attached a hose and let the water drain away from the room. So far, this is a good product. Purchased Feb 2010

This is a great rain barrel. It came assembled, so I was able to take it out of the box and install it. It is not flat on the back side as it appears in the picture.
The only disppointment was that it did not have a slot in the barrel cover for the downspout to fit into.
It was easy to cut with tin snips, so the problem was solved in no time.

Looks good and is well constructed. it has good drains and overflows.
Rated 5 out of 5 by wvhotdog Easy to install. Light enough to lift.
I installed 2 of the Rain Barrels. The hardest part was preparing the ground to make sure it's level. Other than that it was easy to cut off the downspout with a hacksaw. They look great.

This is my second one. They're light-weight to set up and hold tons of water. They look really nice in my front yard under the gutters which are 3 stories high and full of leaves. The gutters are bent out in 2 places, and I just don't want anyone up on a ladder that high just to clean them. These fit my needs -- beautifully.
Rated 4 out of 5 by BelleMel functional and attractive
A bit more fun than the traditional rain barrel shape. Solid construction, although I would have liked the barrel to be somewhat sturdier. Great overall!
Rated 4 out of 5 by freerain Good Choice
A nice rain barrel. This was my first, and I like the look as compared to less expensive barrels. It looks and works nicely. It is round in the back, unlike the look of the photo. I did cut a piece of screen to lay under the circular top to keep out mosquitos. It popped into place with no problems. I like how I didn't have to buy another base to raise the unit. However, it does have to be pretty full to get started. It has a hookup in back for a hose for overfill. I like this and for this price I would buy it again.
Rated 5 out of 5 by computergeekgoesgardening Very nice looking rain barrel
A guest to my house looked at the rain barrel from about 4 feet away and wondered however I would move it if I need to. Since it was empty I was able to lift it and swing it around. Her eyes popped out of her head. She thought it was made of STONE. It is a nice looking barrel. The handle to turn the spigot open is too close to the barrel making it hard to turn, but since the barrel has just a little "give" in it, the handle will open. I don't know if I'll be able to turn it once the barrel is filled though and that is a concern. I'll live with it because the barrel is just so nice looking. I have a "rain chain" attached to my greenhouse gutter and cannot wait for it to rain so i can see how it works.
Very pleased with the product.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Apitz Rain water barrel
Texas has been under a severe drought this summer. I decided to put rain barrels under all of my gutters to catch and keep water for my landscaping. I have 300 gallons of capacity including this barrel. I like this one for it's removable lid so I can see how much water I have trapped. This is an excellent container. I have a soaker hose and an open spigot connected to the base. On half-inch rain filled all my barrels. Now my plants are happy and my foundation is protected from the drought conditions. I recommend this vessel.
Rated 5 out of 5 by pstar66 Surprised that it has an overflow pipe. Not mentioned in description. - nice bonus.
Rated 4 out of 5 by gtwally Very attractive and functional rain barrel
A very well made rain barrel with all the options that you would want with this addition to your home. Attactive color and shape that fits well with your landscaping. Options I like include top screen, overflow outlet, brass spigot, and a cleanout valve that allows for end of the season fluching.
Rated 5 out of 5 by thriftyanonymous This rain barrel is very lightweight, when empty, and very easy to empty completely. It's beautiful, real-looking and functional. I'm completely satisfied with it.
Rated 5 out of 5 by MaryInLewisville Great deal and great price!
Though priced lower, it is very sylish compared to the other rain barrels available. It was very easy to install and works great!
Rated 5 out of 5 by watervalleygal looks good
I looked for a rain barrel for quite a while and was so happy to find this urn style rain barrel. It does what it is suppose to do and it's easy enough to attach a hose so I can reach the far end of the flower bed. Of course, it took some time to find the correct gutter elbows but once I did it was easy enough to install. I'm almost 70 yrs. and did it all myself! I also made sure that the ground was level and put down 4 16x16 patio blocks. Looks so good.

I AM PLEASED WITH THE KYOTO WATER BARREL. tHERE ARE TWO CHANGES i WOULD MAKE. INCLUDE A HOSE FOR THE OVER FLOW AS I HAD A HARD TIME TO GET ONE THAT WOULD FIT OR HAVE MANUFACTURE CHANGE PLACEMENT OF OVER FLOW SPOUT SO IT IS NOT DIRECTLY FLOWING OUT ON THE HOUSE.OTHER THAN THAT UNTILL WE GET A LONG SPELL WITH NO RAIN I WILL BEABLE TO WATER MY GARDEN AT NO COST TO ME.
Rated 4 out of 5 by oliviasmama09 very nice
we haven't actually used the rain barrel yet. however, i was very surprised by the fact that it wasn't flat backed to sit flush against the side of the house... as the picture appears. that was one of the main reasons i chose this rain barrel, other than overall appearance. but i could just be looking at the picture wrong. it does appear, even after looking at it multiple times, that the back of the barrel looks flat. it does look great. and i can tell it will hold LOTS of water. i would recommend it.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kayaknut Kyoto 55 gallon rain barrel - cool product
Great product. This rain barrel looks sharp. Just like the picture. What you cant see is a drain connection in the bottom foot on the left side. This is useful cause the spigot is above ground and otherwise you cant drain the water below the spigot. The good thing about the spigot location is you can fit a bucket under it and it also allows any sediment to settle in the bottom below the spigot so the water you get out of the spigot should be sediment free. This is ideal if you are connecting a soaker hose. A soaker hose would otherwise be susceptable to clogging. You would be suprised how much sediment comes out of the rain gutters. Overall great product.
Rated 5 out of 5 by squirliegirlie Love this rain barrel. Would buy more if the cost was less. The lid is a little loose on top. But overall a good buy!
Rated 5 out of 5 by robjoyce value i was looking for
We have had the product only a week and it has not rained but it seem to be what i was looking for.
