<p>The Kryptonics 36" longboard complete skateboard provides a fun way to get around the neighborhood sidewalk or the skate park. It features a wide deck made of durable maple for reliable control and stability. The large 6-inch aluminum trucks allow for precision turns. Polyurethane wheels roll smoothly along on ABEC 3 bearings. This Kryptonics skateboard also features a composite slant truck. The squash tail shape with single kicktail lets skaters do different tricks and moves and the board is decorated with vibrant and colorful graphics. It is suitable for beginners and experienced skaters alike.</p>

the review before me is a bunch of hoo haw, this board is just for getting around and having fun at the same time. It is not a freestyle board, but more of a cruising board. If you are have trouble with turning then just loosen up the trucks. I do not believe the review before me is written by a professional long/skate boarder. The ride was very smooth and enjoyable.

My daughter is just learning to longboard, I chose this one because the colors and price were right. She was riding on her own within a couple days, she had never been on any longboard or skateboard before. She loves this board.
So it must be a good choice for beginners.
I read some negative reviews, but if you are such a longboard pro then you should know that this one is in lower price range, so if you want a more pro board then pay for one with a pro price!

My beginner longboarder loves it!

they say the trucks are aluminum, but they are actually plastic. It is a good board for beginners.

They "bend the truth" a little.

Bought this on a whim because I wanted to get into longboarding. Went with a couple friends who taught me to ride. It's great for going in a straight line, but when you try and turn, the board actually hits the wheels and slows you way down, which according to them is something called wheelbite. If you just want to balance and learn to go straight, it's perfectly fine, but I can't say the price point justifies it.  For the money I'd need to spend on different wheels, I could've just gotten a better board. But I do appreciate that it's quite easy to balance on and learn to just go forward and push.

Not really worth it

I am an advanced long boarder and decided to buy this board and i was excited because the top of the board looked awesome and it was cheap but once i started to ride it the board didn't glide, slide, or turn very good in fact it was terrible quality of deck. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS!! Buy another board do not waste your money on this board.
