Rated 3 out of 5 by decent quality if applied right This clearcoat applies white which had me concerned because i was spraying on my truck but after 24 hours most of it cleared up except for the runs and thick areas, all runs or extra thick areas are still white after 72 hours. All in all if carefully applied with thin coats and no runs you will have a good finish. 11/29/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Woodworking Projects Both the Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear Gloss and Satin formulas are top-notch products and yield a high-quality finish. I use the Satin as the final top-coat AFTER applying several light coats of the Krylon Acrylic Clear Gloss on my carved woodworking projects. Most woodworkers who want a satin finish know how important it is to apply a few light coats of Gloss finish before the final Satin coat, in order for the woodgrain to show clearly. Applying several coats of just satin alone would "dull out" the woodgrain too much. Apply your Gloss coats first, then a very light coat or two of the Satin for the FINAL coat only, if you want the best possible appearance for wood. (Unless you WANT a Gloss finish, of course.) 01/07/2013
