Be sure child is old enough I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas because that was all he asked for and talked about. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the age on the box and he is way too young for this item, he just turned 4, recommened age is 12, so his mother and I are going to attempt to put it together. I really don't know why they do not come with the parts at least separated by color. They package things in separate packages, but they are combined, the first thing it says to do is separate by color. This is time consuming in itself. Be prepared for a long weekend to put this together. Although, if the child is old enough, it could keep him busy for quite some time. 01/13/2012
