A decent purchase if needed My wife really wanted one of these for our second child in spite of the fact that we never needed one for the first. Anyway, it seems a bit pricey for something that you can only use for a few months, but we went ahead and got it. It arrived very quickly, and assembly was easy. The color is definitely not white, more of a yellowish-cream, but I wouldn't object to using it for a baby boy or girl. The mattress while not as thick as some might desire, certainly seems to be thick enough for a baby, who needs a firmer surface anyway. We were planning to add foam under it for more cushion, but after installing it, we feel that it will be fine the way it is. There is a solid masonite board under the mattress so it seems quite firm. THe mobile is very cute, and we really like the nature sounds and classical music more so than the singing songs.It converts fairly easily from rocker to stable base, by simply pushing in some tabs to raise or lower the bottom support. Although we will likely use it on the stable setting, the casters are nice if we want to wheel it out into the dining room or kitchen.Overall we will have to wait a few months to see how baby girl likes it, but I can't complain about the quality of materials, and I am fairly picky about such things, especially when spending this amount of money.I think it is fairly attractive. 08/22/2009
satified! Most importantly it is Cute,Sturdy,and at an Affordable price!It is very sturdy considering i have 2 toddler boys that mess with it. Im a picky Mom and i would have to say that im am very pleased.The ruffles have a Golden designs that you dont see in the picture...yes golden!But i like it. It looks so much better in person. One Downside how ever is the mattress is too thin..your going to have to add extra padding or some cushion for baby. The Mobile plays music, vibrates..and has a night light! So Overall i would recommend this product to picky parents! 08/22/2009
Great Product I used this bassinet the first day I brought my daughter home from the hospital. She was able to sleep in it without any problems. I also liked the fact that it plays music and also vibes. 11/29/2009
Wrong color Be AWARE….This product color is an ugly creamy yellow with gold. The site picture shows it as a beautiful ivory color. Which is why I purchase it? I will be returning it back to Wal-Mart. 03/30/2009
