This is a cool product, however, my kitten's love boxes & buckets way better than this product. I think if their was more to it they would like it better, as it seems to bore them very quickley. I may purchase moe pieces to add on but I may have my husband build something onto it thats more attractive & exciting. Kittens like fun & excitement fast moving! The piece is a little pricey & adding could be very expensive. The kittens do love the scratch pole part of it & that is a good thing as it does deter them from scratching other furniture. Thank You for yourallowing customers to speak out on products they purchase. WomanWhoStandsHerGround

I bought the new design that has burlap instead of netting where the cats climb in addition to 3 other pieces. After 2 days the burlap starting separating at the seams and my cats never used it unless I put them on it as they were afraid it wouldn't support them. I have a 10lb cat and a 15 lb cat. This might be ok for kittens but NOT adult cats as the sides of the unit bow in when the cats are trying to walk up it.

My cats have yet to climb up the "hill" portion. It's plastic, not sisal rope as it appears in the pictures. They would rather sleep on the krinkle bottom of this piece.

Bought for a 7 weeks old kitten, very easy to turn over. Took it apart and through it away.

  • A. Yes it is a scratching post. What it's made of is unclear. I resembled the scratching post material used through the product line.

  • A. It is a scratching post and not familiar with "Sisal rope material" but the material is rope like and he scratches those things all the time. He really likes them.

  • A. Yes, it is a scratching post made of rope. I don't know what sisal material is, but it is basically just a standard rope type material.

  • A. Yes but it's not a continuous piece like a scratching post. It's small pieces glued together with a seam that runs from top to bottom down the back of the pole. My cats don't scratch on it.

  • A. sisal rope post is on several of the coners of the different parts to make up the tower. There is no carpet post on any of the kitty city items. They are easy clean and safe for all age cats.
