The convenient 10-speed control allows you to choose the speed for mixing - from very high to very low stir. The mixer can easily tilt up for easy bowl removal. The stainless steel stand mixer set also includes a dough hook and a wire whip for versatility. The mixer can be wiped with a damp cloth while the bowl, beater and the hook are dishwasher safe ensuring easy maintenance.

I wanted to buy this item, because I have been wanting this item for a very long time and also because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, but I love to make home made chicken potpie PA Dutch style. You have to mix the dough by hand, kneed it, roll it out with a rolling pin, cut the dough into squares, then drop them into your boiling pot of chicken, broth, veggies.My hands are starting to hurt now when I make the dough, but with my new appliance, the hardest part of the job is done and it saves my hands from the pain. I bought it online at midnight as one of the Black Friday deals at $130. Of course, at this price I should have realized I was being short changed. This mixer does not tilt back, but has the bowl lift feature. It also only came with one paddle. I thought I had done my research, but clearly not. If information is not listed on the product description, don't assume anything!In all reality, the mixer I purchased works great, is a huge convenience, and I feel I got a deal. Only this is the product I really wanted. 12/17/2008
