I am into making things from scratch and this product aids the process imensley. Just be sure to lightly lubricate the stuffing tube before putting the casings on.

This works well. You can also use this to make other things like stuffing manicotti shell. Saves time. And Wal-mart was about $4.00 dollars cheaper than everyone else.

We purchased this and used it to make sausages for the first time with meat that we ground with the mixer also. Once we got the hang of it it was fairly easy to do, and faster than we had expected. It is a 2 person job though. It was easiest with one person pushing the meat down as the other person holds and twists the sausage casings.

  • Yes, you do. The description above says, "This sausage stuffer kit works in conjunction with your KitchenAid stand mixer and food grinder attachment." You can find them online, perhaps a search engine inquiry, and they average between $40 and $60

  • I received mine as a gift but before I purchased the sausage stuffer I checked the prices of some of the kitchen aid attachments & I found it on several websites for 79.99 but I know if you call kitchen aid they have a sale for the month of November free shipping I don't remember the rest of the offers but my mom made a purchase and didn't pay for shipping or any taxes

  • It is available on the Walmart web site. Do not remember the cost (I already had one) but if the price of the sausage stuffer is any example it will be less expensive than any where else; especially if you use the "site to store" shipping method.
