Whether you're tailgating, picnicking or just relaxing in the back yard, you can't beat a barbeque. Now better than ever, Kingsford Charcoal features Sure Fire Grooves. These deep, wide and long grooves mean the briquets light easier and heat faster — while burning just as long as before. As always, each briquet is made with natural ingredients and real wood, resulting in the authentic smoky flavor that Kingsford has long been known for.
Kingsford Charcoal Briquets, 2 Pack of 13.90 lb Bags:
Arrange briquets in a pyramid at the bottom of the grill. Pour approximately 2 oz. of Kingsford Lighter Fluid over the top of the stack of briquets and carefully light with a match. You've added enough lighter fluid when briquets appear glossy. When coals are ready for cooking, spread them in a single layer or bank them, set the grilling grid in place and put on the food. Briquets are ready for grilling when they are at least 70 percent covered with ash and have a slight red glow. This takes about 15 minutes.
- Ready to cook on in about 15 minutes
- Lights 25 percent faster and lasts longer compared to other brands
- Sure Fire Grooves have edges for quick, easy lighting
- Made from natural ingredients and real wood
Never use gasoline to light charcoal; do not add lighter fluid directly to burning or hot charcoal. Make sure ashes are cold before discarding. Never burn charcoal inside homes, vehicles, or tents (burning charcoal gives off carbon monoxide, which has no odor). Barbecue away from flammable items, overhangs, and trees. Store briquets in a cool, dry place. Prop 65 warning: combustion (burning) of this product, like other cooking methods, produces carbon monoxide and other substances known by the state of california to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm.
