    Rated 4.5 out of 5★by 171reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★by Love it! This grill, used twice now has produced the best grilled food we've ever prepared. The unique coal pan that can be raised and lowered is likely the key to why nothing got overdone and came out better than expected. It does take a bit longer to cook, but it's worth it because there was little or no blackened meat, tender and juicy inside all likely due to the fact that we could lower the coals all the way down to make the grill cook like an oven. The temperature gauge is also very convenient because it lets you know what's going on inside the closed lid without having to open it and let all the heat out. There is ample room on the grate, probably more than the large Weber we used to have plus an upper grate for buns or warming of veggies, etc. Would fit two large racks of ribs easily with room to spare.Raising and lowering the coal grate is so easy and actually quite fun with the crank handle. When done grilling, raise the coals all the way up and burn off the grate. Sweet! The door in the front allows for convenient access to the coals, either to add more coals or toss wood chips on for smoke flavor. There are 4 dampers, allowing for various combinations to control the burn rate, very nice. The side table is not huge but plenty big enough to put most necessary items used while grilling including a large platter and sauces. Below the side table/shelf are cute little hooks for the utensils to hang on.The shelf below the grill is quite sturdy for storing heavy bags of coals, etc. The handles on the lid and on the left side used to drive the grill are also very solid. Surprisingly, the entire grill is solid, not flimsy at all. For the price, hard to go wrong with this grill.Overall, we're very impressed and the fact that the meat turned out so well is a huge bonus. 05/03/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★by Pretty Nice I purchased this grill last weekend. It was very easy to assemble though the instructions contain pictures only and no actual written procedures. It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble it by myself while throwing back a few cold ones.I wasn't sure about a Kingsford grill as most sites always reference Weber and Char-broil. I can say I'm very happy with this purchase and think it is worth more than the actual cost. The grill is very sturdy and well made. The only plastic parts are the feet and wheels; everything else is metal. I really wanted a grill with an adjustable tray so I have even more control over the heat and this grill fits the bill. It even has a bottle opener for those beverages that don't have twist off caps. It will easily hold 12, 1/4lb burgers. I guess the only cons would be not having a shelf on the left side, a brush to help clean up ash, and a cover. I’d definitely suggest using a power drill and you’ll also need a socket set for some nuts.I guess now I just wait and see how it holds up over time. 05/27/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★by Not A Bad Deal Not a bad deal for $94 dollars, and being a Kingsford, and too, found in my local store. Had minor damage to bottom storage rack that I straightned out with my hand. Like other reviews state, DO NOT loose any screws/bolts because there are NO extras. Took about two hours to assemble. Could have been less had I not been watching the show Cheaters. 05/16/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★by well worth it I was torn between a charcoal grill or a gas grill but after seeing this one online I fell in love with the design. I was worried about it's durability and size since the store didn't have a model, but I was pleasantly surprised. Just this evening I cooked 4 steaks, a whole pack of hot dogs, and 8 sausages at one time and still had room for more. I love the fact that if it's just me I can raise the charcoal pan closer 2 the food instead of wasting a whole bag of charcoal. It's not too small but not too big either. It's perfect for what I need it for. I have had this grill for almost 3 weeks now. I grill for just myself about 3-4 times a week and have had 3 bbqs already. It took me a little over 3 hours to assemble by myself. There are parts where the instructions say you need 2 people in order to do it, but I was able to do it by myself. All in all this is well worth the money. I've had people surprised when I tell them that it was only $100, they always expect it to be more. So far I have used this grill to feed about 20 people during a single bbq. I have even been able 2 do ribs on it by putting the charcoal on one side and then the ribs on the other. It has a temp gage on the top of the grill so that I can monitor the temp.I have recommended this grill to everyone who needs a decent size grill without over spending. 04/23/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★by Excellent value! The grill is made of a thinner metal but the operation of the grill is excellent compared to the more expensive grills. Glad it is next to my commercial grade gas grill! 04/05/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★by Great Value We don't grill a lot. We only tried once since the purchase three weeks ago. Here are the pros and cons we found:Pros: solid construction, easy to operate, right size, easy to clean, able to raise or lower charcoal pan and control airflow. Great price too.Cons: too many parts. Took more than two hours to put everything together.Overall, it is an excellent grill and great value. 04/20/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★by Best Buy Ever Received this grill today.Bought it already assembled which was a plus .Grilled this evening on it and I must say I had the best steak and Lyonaisse potates ever, I used hickory chips wrapped in foil over the charcoal to flavor my steak and potatoes and it cost us so little to prepare our meal and it was as good if not better than a professional chef would make. Excellent grill for the price. A real bargain, and very easy to use and ita's a nice looking grill too.Tempurature gauge and removable ash tray a plus !!! Don't hesitate with this one .. Go for it !!! 05/01/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★by Great Little Grill This grill is a really nice value.Assembly took me about two hours and I did it myself without difficulty. There is a notation in the instructions that one part needs two people. Not sure why, because it went smoothly. The little parts were packaged very nicely and labeled in a way I have not seen before. This made the assembly quite easy. The instructions are all in pictures (not my favorite), but the pictures were drawn well and easy to understand for the most part. This grill meets all my expectations for cooking. I typically grill for just myself, but the size is nice for average family gatherings. For the price, the quality is excellent. It's not your heavy-duty Weber grill metal, but if you keep the charcoal in the confines of the coal grid (as per the instructions), there should be no issue. The coal grid is quite large, and that's impressive as well for the price. The cooking grates are solid and seem more substantial than some other grills I have used. The only negative I can report is the awkward tray that catches the ash. The drawer slides out easily, but it's such a large tray, it's awkward to empty. It does, however, encourage me to empty the ash after 1 or 2 uses, which is good as I have been lazy with other grills and end up with a mess. This is a really nice value for less than $100 if you are looking for a charcoal grill...and it looks great too.P.S. for the previous reviewer who posted a picture of heat damage - most likely he or she loaded the charcoal too close to the edge. There is more than enough surface to use lots of charcoal. Follow the instructions and you'll have a nice grill that cooks great. 05/21/2011
