Personalized play. Kinect provides an in-game experience in which the player's face and voice are recognized. Greet and speak to characters in the game, or simply step into view of the sensor to log into Xbox LIVE and connect with friends. Kinect is smart enough to remember voices and faces. Off-the-couch play. Kinect Sensor provides game play that gets you off the couch, on your feet and in the fun. Each Kinect experience is designed to get players moving, laughing, cheering and playing together. Kinect makes social gaming off-the-couch fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ffmgr Great for some exercise I bought the Kinect Sensor for my daughter a few years back. We enjoyed it so much, we decided for my grandson's birthday that we were going to get this for him. He played with it for hours. The Kinect Adventures is a great get in shape and family fun game. We laughed the whole time. I highly recommend this game for the whole family. 09/19/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nottaprob Kinect works great, depending on space you have & lighting. Good for multiple people if you keep everyone from walking around in the "box". Has some good games in what comes with it & a few good ones on the shelf. More towards young kids or exercise use, others that say "better with Kinect" are only using your voice for commands & nothing else (Madden13). Would love to see some FPS games, but a couple great racing games (Forza4) where you don't need any controller.If you've got close to 10 feet of space from it & good lighting in front of you, the Kinect works well. It even came with power connecter that comes apart to use with either slim or older fat models for plugging directly into slim or wall power for older models. About time, saves you $30+ if you got an older model. 09/12/2012
