KidKraft Deluxe Let's Cook Kitchen 4.7 5 199 211
Excellent Product & Even better brand I bought this kitchen for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. The directions were easy to follow although it did take us several hours to put together. My daughter and the 2 year old boy that I watch on a daily basis love this kitchen and they spend hours playing 'house' together in it.This morning they somehow broke the oven door off and I was very upset because we hadn't even had it for a month.Well I went to the KidKraft website and found out that they will replace parts free of charge anytime throughout the life of the kitchen. I called them to make sure I was understanding this right, and sure enough I was.You do not find very many companies who are willing to do this with their products and I for one am completely amazed by this. With kids accidents will happen and toys will be broken and it is nice to know that manufacturers understand this and are willing to back their products up.I will tell everyone I know what a wonderful little kitchen this is, and especially what a great brand KidKraft is.I can say that for the rest of her childhood I will go out of my way to buy KidKraft if it is available.Hope this helps! 01/13/2009
Tater gives thumbs up! We shopped months for the best kitchen set we could give our 3 yr old for Christmas. Our daughter is taller than most kids her age. We looked at all the major brand's plastic models, but they seemed small compared to our daughter. We didn't think they would "grow with her". We found this set on Walmart.com and decided to give it a try. It is taller than most plastic sets. On Christmas Day our daughter was thrilled. She "cooked" four days non-stop. It is large and heavy enough that our 12 year old daughter can play with her sister and not worry about being too heavy handed with the doors. I was concerned that it didn't have the sounds like some of the plastic models, but the kids do not mind at all. They just make the sounds themselves!! It does take some time to put together. However, we found the directions easy to follow and everything was labeled. The best thing about the assembly was that there were NO STICKERS to place on the kitchen. Everything came pre-done or painted on. Santa HATES placing on stickers at 2 o'clock in the morning! We would very much recommend this kitchen. 01/11/2009
Great Toy Kitchen! Assembly: It is a fairly large piece of furniture, so there were many pieces. All the pieces were labelled and the hardware came in one large package divided into the different types, all clearly labelled. The only thing you need is a screw driver for about a dozen screws. I used a small electric one since I am not super strong in my hands and I quickly became tired. Overall, it was pretty easy and took about 2 hours.Quality: It is very sturdy and after a couple of weeks have nothing broken or damaged. My son (2y) plays with it daily and he is not the gentlest when playing. It is large and heavy so a child cannot easily move it. I've caught my son trying to climb it and it does not look like it will tip over.Toy: As a toy kitchen, I am very satisfied. It is large enough that he'll be able to play with it for several years and with other kids. The doors close securely but are easy enough for him to open and close on his own. My son loves playing with it.My only complaint is that the refrigerator only has one shelf. I would have preferred two to help storing all the play food. The space between the bottom and the shelf and the shelf and the top is a little over a foot. Luckily, I had some wire locker shelves that fit perfectly in there and gives the extra needed storage. 06/30/2010
Great Kid's Kitchen My wife & I bought this kitchen for our twin boy & girl and they are really enjoying it. There's a microwave, pretend range and oven, dishwasher & fridge... feels like their own mini-version of our family's kitchen. The 2 of them play together and make meals for us, and it's a great way for them to learn about kitchen tasks like washing dishes, cutting pretend vegetables, putting groceries away, etc... and it came with plastic utensils which is nice. They share, play, and cooperate well with this toy. A big hit. 11/24/2008
