Glad I didn't pay for shipping The chair was much wider than it appears in the photos, almost a small bench size. I purchased 2. Since my daughter & I could not assemble it due to the Cast Iron sides & the wooden slats connecting holes do not line up AT ALL, I will be returning them. We spents hours trying differnt approaches to get this thing together as the instructions do not have any explaination just a drawing showing how all the hardware goes together. We tried connecting all 10 slats to one side first but that made it impossible for the other sides holes to line up at all. After taking it all apart, tried top to bottom connecting one slat at a time but by the third slat the holes didn't line up again! We then tried connecting the very top slat then the very bottom thinking we would keep alternating our way to the middle but again after two top & two bottom slats the third slat did not line up. We looked like a comedy act , tried hammering the bolts in, twisting,& turning the cast iron trying to align this THING. Terrible disappointment for what I thought was going to be a thrill for my granddaughters on Christmas morning. Needless to say I will never purchase any product by this company EVER!! 12/23/2008
