KidKraft Train Trundle 1 1
Intended to order 6 (3 each for 2 twin beds), but walmart only stocked 5 so i'll be ordering another when replenished. ALOT of places online seem to carry this product (even target#, but of course only walmart has the cheapest price. was worried about shipping since walmart is notorious for damanged products in shipping, but thankfully this came straight from supplier and wasnt damaged at all. Received within 3 days of ordering #5 days ahead of schedule# which was very impressive. the boxes arent light - around 30 lbs per drawer, but it is what it is. all drawer pieces were wrapped in thin foam wrap and had no flaws, scratches or dings. they're easy to put together; just a couple screws in each corner, twist the caster wheels on and your good to go. one drawer took us about 10 minutes and that was with struggling with one of the nuts - the threads were bent but luckily hubby was able to fix it so we didnt have to go through the hassle of replacement parts #no, there arent any spare parts#. was very happy to see the bottom board isnt the cheap particle board #like you would tack to the back of the cheap bookcases or similar products), its the same thickness as the rest of the pieces so it can def hold some weight - one review i saw mentioned their kids were even rolling around in them. the plastic caster wheels work pretty good, even on carpet but we have yet to put clothes in it though so who knows how well it will work on carpet after it has weight. the rope pulls seem pretty strong, too, so we're happy that isnt a concern. FYI... product height with caster wheels is 10.5" tall, not 10". def sturdy, should hold up for quite some time. happy so far! 05/09/2012
