Rated 5 out of 5 by hapymama2 Sooo perfect!!!! This was a Christmas present from Santa to our 5 year old. The directions are very easy to follow, and though when you open it, the amount of pieces are overwhelming, they are all there and easy to assemble. We found it on sale before Christmas for $135 compared to $269 at toys r us. All put together, it is a dream come true. I am average height and it is chin high on me. She was thrilled and has played with it non stop. All her Barbies fit and the furniture is wonderful and made of solid wood. We made it a bit more sturdy (not that it needs it) with some wood glue. It will last for many, many years. Just PERFECT!!! 01/03/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rainbug This dollhouse is amazing I bought this dollhouse for my 5 year old for xmas 2011 and she is absolutely in love. The photos do not do it justice, the backgrounds throughout the house and even in the garage are beautiful, and on the outside they have even included a couple of pigeons sitting on the sideing. I will admit it took me a couple of hours to put this together by myself but it is all wood and quality hardware so I know my hard work will stand the test of time. The only issue we have had was the 1/2 wall on the third floor that seperates the bed and bath kept falling out because it is suppose to be held in place by the upper and lower levels putting pressure on it. I simply applied a really good industeral glue to the 3 hidden edges and that was the end of that. Also I suggest haveing a small piece of wax handy for the metal track that the elevator runs on because other wise it is tough for little hands to make it move. I used a small piece of gulf wax and went over the track several times to make sure my daughter could move it easily. After reading other reviews and looking at the photos I was certain the furniture would not fit Barbie dolls and I planned on throwing it away, but I was pleasently surprised to find that it is the perfect size for all of her barbies. I know this dollhouse isn't cheap but it is worth every penny and a great deal more, on a 1 to 10 scale of value and happiness my daughter and I have to give it a 10+. Oh and F.Y.I. the current Barbie 3 story house is $40 cheaper but 1/2 the size and it is all cheapo plastic, just so you know. 12/26/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chic4cheapMom GREAT STEAL!!!!! i have been eyeing this dollhouse for over a month, but when it went on sale with free shipping after being sold out i had to make the purchase. And this has been one of my smartest purchases by far!!!! this dollhouse exceeds my expectations!! i received it last wk and it took me about 2 and a half hrs to assemble myself. I am 5'6" and the house reaches slightly above my shoulder which was higher then expected. My 4 yr old wont be able to reach the top floor yet but judging by the structure and sturdiness of the house i'm sure it will last long enough until she is able to. Anyway in my opinion it is worth the price and the screams and smiles on x-mas morning....i cant wait!!!! 11/27/2011

They play with this constantly and love it so much. It's is huge and the colors are great. Well worth the money and time it took to put together (about 4 hours) I highly recommend it! 02/19/2011
