Rated 1 out of 5 by 2kidsandamommy What was I thinking? I got this for my daughter a few years back for Christmas (she was 4 at the time)…what was I thinking really? First of all it’s tiny! But that wasn’t the worst part! Seeing her reaction after we took it out of the box. At first she was excited because she had been wanting a “real" drum set but once we took it out of the box she was very disappointed. Now, if you’re like most of us parents-we HATE seeing our children sad/disappointed :(Aside from being tiny, this toy kept loosing its balance and would keep tipping over. I know this only because my, [then 1 year old], son ended up playing with it-not my daughter.The “thing” lasted about 2 weeks before it broke so it ended up in the trash the first week of January. It’s a cute idea but it should be just a bit bigger and sturdier in my opinion. Definitely for a 1−2 year old :\ And expect it to last for a couple of weeks or less. 10/25/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by MJAEI It gets the job done. Its made of plastic so don't expect to start the neighborhood band with it, but its great because it get the job done. Its not really loud which is why I gave it an excellent. But its not made for heavy/hard use. Its a toy and for $20 its perfect. I bought it for a 3yr old boy and he played with it for hours. And it was still intact when I went back hours later to check it out. Did I mention he was 3 yrs old. Enough said ;) 11/24/2012

She is 3 and we wanted to buy her a drumset that was inexpensive to see if she would even play with it before purchasing a more expensive set. So far this drumset has worked great. She enjoys playing it and it is sturdy enough for her to play and have a good time. I am sure at some point we will probably purchase her a better set but for right now this one is working just fine. Happy with my purchase!! 10/25/2012

I bought this as a surprise gift for my 4 Yr kid , and he is so amazed to see a Drum set unpacked from that small box.Nicely designed, though the sound produced can't be much appreciated. Again, got to compromise with the sound quality for the price being paid.Overall, this is a nice drums starter kit for 3+ yrs , and I bet you get the value for your money. 10/27/2012
