Rated 5 out of 5 by Trent Liked It So Much, I Bought A Second One. About 10 years ago I bought this same 6X8 unit back when Keter was making it for Black & Decker. Now, 10 years later I have finally outgrown my beloved original and had to have another one just like it. Black & Decker no longer sells them so I went straight to the source, Keter. Easy to assemble with simple construction. I just looked at the great diagrams and didn't have to read a word. Some steps say it takes two people but I was able to build it all by myself. Two people aren't necessary, but it just makes it a lot easier. Very durable! I live about three miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico and have yet to get a leak, even during tropical storms and hurricanes! I built my new Keeter right next to my well proven Black & Decker unit. Once constructed you can push slide it into place if it's on concrete as mine are. Fill it up and it stays put. Plenty of room and headspace. My push mower and pressure washer fit perfectly in one unit. With shelving I get a ton of storage for everything I need for landscaping and home maintenance. I am so very pleased with both units. Rated 2 out of 5 by Backyardian Not worth the money Just finished putting together this shed and Im disappointed with the overall outcome. It was [...]easy to assemble, however for the price I paid I expected this unit to be sturdier and provide solid fastening points for ALL fasteners. First I want to point out that I took the time to make a very solid foundation for this shed using 2" thick x 24" wide pavers with leveling sand beneath and between the pavers. As for the shed, some parts of this product are sturdy like the floors, corners and gables while others like the wall panels, roof panels, plastic 'studs' (if you can call them that) and windows are very thin, flimsy and cheap. Im very disappointed to see items of this cheap flimsy quality included with something intended for outdoor use and at the price of this unit. The most disappointing thing I came across was when it was time to screw down the outside edge of the roof panels. The manufacture provides 12 plastic attachments for the front and rear sides of the roof panels to attach to (which are decent), but for the left and right outside edges there is nothing for the 16 large screws to really fasten too other than the cheap hollow plastic roof panels themselves, so essentially the screws just spin which means they are not effective. I can't comprehend why the manufacture did this. They could have easily designed the roof panels so that ALL the screws have something efficient to fasten to. Another easy improvement the manufacture could have done was to provide 'studs' that are actually solid, instead of the hollow plastic ones they provide. After all, the point of a stud is to provide stability. Now for the improvements I did to make this shed sturdier: 1st, I inserted 1 3/8" x 11/16" strips of wood into the entire length of the hollow space of the studs (this took some time to custom cut these on my table saw so it wasn't an easy task). I then attached 1x4" boards which span diagonally from the floor to ceiling and fastened those to the wood that I inserted into the studs. After doing this I feel the shed is twice as sturdy since it now has lateral bracing. To improve on the roof panels, I plan to install 1/16" thick x 1" wide flat aluminum strips across the top left and right edge of the roof panels. I will then use sheet metal screws long enough to pass through the roof panels and fasten into the aluminum strips. This should ensure the outside edge of the roof panels are actually fastened down. With very minimal improvements, this shed could be so much better than it is. But because of the extra work Im having to do to make this shed stable and secure, there is no way I can give it a good review. I certainly didn't plan on doing all of this extra work so I feel like this shed is not worth the price I paid for it. 07/23/2011
