Yes, all Ball and Kerr canning jars are safe for use in the freezer. Just remember to leave enough room at the top for expansion of the product when it freezes.

This item is available for "in store" purchase only.

Had trouble with this issue too. But the site will not let you order jars that are not there. When the store you are closest too has them come in on the truck, and they are recieved you can lay claim to all the jars that come in. For some reason you cannot pre order jars. I don't know why. But I got lucky and asked costumer service, if they had any jars in back, They said no. but they did mention that a truck was coming in that night with the jars I wanted. I checked online later that night and order 5 cases. I got them. I ordered 5 more and they were not available. So I think they have to be in the store for you to claim them. Next time I'm in Walmart I think I'm asking why, to a manager.

Kerr canning jars are perfect for attaching labels or other decorative items to them because they have the embossed word 'Kerr' on only one side and the other side is smooth. Their shape has straighter sides from top to bottom than other jars.

Was very happy with how quickly I received my item and how quickly I got a response when there was a problem with the first shipment. Problem resolved quickly.

The jars arrived safely and I am very pleased with them. I plan to make jam,jelly, and several relishes with them to put into my Christmas baskets this year.

Kerr Wide Mouth Mason Jar - 12 Pack

I prefer these canning jars over all others because they are shaped a little differently. Just a slight 'squaring' of the sides makes them set side by side more compactly. I also like the fact they are smooth on three sides so they are easy to label and see through. When given a choice, I always buy Kerr canning jars. Also, the price was very good!

Kerr products have never let me down. Well one jar one time out of a hundred. The lid crikled during canning process, don't know why. Other than that never had a problem with Kerr products. Walmart is selling these jars at a very good value as compared to anyone else in this area. They just can not keep them in stock at the store during canning season

I bought 3 cases of these for craft projects so can not speak of how well they would hold up for canning. Cheapest jars I've found anywhere and would definitely buy them from WalMart as opposed to another store!

Paid $9.04 at Walmart for this 12 pack of Wide Mouth  Pint canning jars with lids and bands. Fair price for a great product. Jan1, 2017.

These jars are perfect for canning. I like the wide-mouth aspect of them because it's easier to fit the contents inside.

Great Canning Jars

They put 7 cases in one box (way to heavy) and the bottom fell out of the box they sent it in.  Luckily no jars were broken outright but who knows about cracks and fractures.

Pay attention to how you pack

Arrived all broken and smashed. Box was clearly damaged and taped back together so it was clear that it was sent knowing it was all broken. Total waste of money
