    GREAT Bike

This is the PERFECT size bike for our 4 year old. She just learned to ride without trainign wheels and her 12 inch bike was too little for her. She has a 16 in with training wheels, but she can barely touch the ground on that one. This 14 in bike is just the right size and was a great value. Easy to put together, shipped the next day and arrived 2 days later! So cute in color and is very durable. I have nothing bad to say about this purchase!!

Our daughter was too big for the smaller bikes and too small for the bigger frame bikes without training wheels. Our Daughter is four and we haven't let her ride a bike before so she needed one with training wheels to get started. Even though this was the only 14" bike Wal-Mart had to offer it was still less expensive than their competitors which had a few to choose from. We looked at Target, Toys R Us and a couple of local bike shops. Thankfully, it's perfect for our daughter. She absolutely loves it! We take her to the park almost everyday. She rides her bike around the track they have right next to the park first before she plays at the actual park that's how much she likes it. We've had it for three weeks. She has plenty of room to grow and it will still suit her. We are very happy with this bike and would recommend it to anyone.

We bought this for our daughter on her 4th birthday. Since we call her "monkey" it was the perfect bike for her. She loves it. She has now had it 3 months and rides it almost every day an it still looks great. It is also the perfect size for her.

    • It really has to do with their age. My son is 3 and fits a 12" just fine.

    • We let our daughter get on many different bikes to see because everybody obviously is built differently. Some kids have longer legs and so on. Thankfully they had this bike in stock at our Wal-Mart so we were able to try it out. It fit her perfect with the seat all the way down which means we have plenty of room as she gets bigger we will just raise the seat to suit her.

    • Make your child stand between the seat and the handlebars. and if they can stand straight up with out hitting the bar they should be OK to ride that bike

    • I don't remember the name of the site, but I did a search on Yahoo and found a site that suggested the 14" for my 4 year old granddaughter. It was a great match. She can ride it easily with the training wheels and it will not be too high when it is time for her to learn to ride without them.

    • We measured our kids inseam to determine how large of a bike to purchase. We ran across a guide online to show us what inseam to gauge for what size bike.

    • As long as they can get on the bike by them self and there feet touch the ground when they sit it should be good

    • It is my understanding that a child's feet should be able to make contact with the ground when sitting on the seat. We took my daughter to a store and tried her on multiple bikes to get a good fit. She just turned 3, but is average height for a 4 yr old, about 42" tall. The 14" size was perfect for her to grow into, she barely touched the floor on the lowest seat setting.
