Rated 5 out of 5★ by Sujana Fantastic Buy! Don't be deceived by the small appearance of this 3/4 sewing machine. With the name of Kenmore/Janome, there's no way to go wrong. This machine does everything my full-sized does! Sewing is so easy and smooth. I was surprised at how well this sewing machine handles itself. It sews over thick materials and has an easy-to-use clutch to wind bobbins. This is a beautiful machine at an affordable price. Now when I travel, I can keep it with me. Wish I would have bought it sooner! It's just precious and fantastic. 11/03/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by castiella sew easy to use! I bought this machine while I figure out what is wrong with my more expensive machine. I figure the cost of this machine would be less than the cost to repair my other machine. Or the time it would take me to figure out what I am doing wrong! So far I like this machine better because it is super easy to use for someone like me with very little experience operating a sewing machine. I like it so much I may never bother with my other machine. I really only need a machine for hemming and other plain straight stitching needs. So cute and lightweight yet sewed through 3 layers of fabric with ease. 12/26/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by 1sewingmama I bought this machine because of the great reviews. They were very accurate. I love this little sewing machine. It is very user friendly and it really does power through thick material with ease. 10/24/2012
Rated 2 out of 5★ by caseyfarmgirl Bobbin jams We are returning this machine because the bobbin keeps jamming - even when operated by an avid, experienced seamstress. 12/26/2012
Rated 2 out of 5★ by carmici Returned I could not get the machine to sew more than a few inches before the bobbin caught and I got a bunch of threads on the reverse. I tried everything to rectify this, support could not suggest anything so I returned the machine. I have ordered a replacement and am still waiting on this. Disappointing quality control. I liked the look and feel of the machine and will be happy if the replacement works as it should. 10/13/2012

Rated 4 out of 5★ by Glamouressa Bought mine from a local Tuesday Morning I'm a BEGINNER sewer. I bought mine at a price 40% cheaper than what walmart is selling it for. Anyway out of the box, it was heavy for it to be small. It seems to have metal insides when I looked up inside it. It had a lot of oil on the throat plate which lets me know it was brand new (I couldn't tell from the outside because the box was so beat up). I tested sewing straight lines on a college rule piece of paper and it wasn't difficult. It does go quite fast right off the bat but it isn't anything that'll deter someone from sewing on it. It is a lot quieter than I expected it to be. On my machine, the reverse lever is defective (pulls down to the side as opposed to straight down) but hopefully that doesn't causes me major issues in the future.I've tried 3 brother machines. The cs6000i, xl2600 and the ce5000prw. They all are so cheaply made and my test fabric and thread suffers punishment because of that. I really hope my new kenmore sewing machine (I call her blu ivy lol) is better. I'll give an update and rate again when I actually sew on my test fabric. Tata for now!! Btw today is my bday :) not that anyone cares though. 07/06/2013
