This is not specifically a signal booster, but I can tell you from experience that it will provide you with the best service possible from any given WiFi provider. It works better for me (improved signal strength, faster throughput) than other, more expensive devices I have had.

Observed 75Mbps with my Belkin Wireless N router. But this adapter works poorly with video plays.

I am very happy with this product! I needed it for my daughters computer for the WiFi, plugged it in and haven't had no problems with it....It works great! And almost forgot, it's so tiny! Great product!

My laptop crashed several weeks ago and to this day I have not been able to get it to recognize my internal WIFI card. The Keebox Wireless-N works as advertised both with installation and performance at a can't be beat price.

I am suprised on how small this device is! Anyway, it's a reasonable price for this product and you'll get the most out of what you payed for. I have a Pwerspec 6342 desktop computer. It's a pretty old model and it's never been on the internet. It runs pretty slow because it's not a brand-spaking new computer. That's why I have a little bit of trouble connecting, but if you have a newer computer/laptop that doesn't have a built in wireless adapter, I would highly reccomend this device, just be careful not to loose it...

Pretty good, but experienced one minor problem....

Works great nice and small in vista laptop all I did was run the driver cd and it found my wifi. I'm back on the internet for 12.00 bucks!!!

Gtreat wifi

I wanted to move my old desktop into a different room in the house but couldn't do so because of the cable connections. I bought this wireless adapter and was able to move the computer. It was a piece of cake. The directions were very clear and I literally had to do nothing but put the usb into the computer before it started to work. I now have my desktop set up in my other room and am able to use it without all the wires going every where. I also ordered this item site-to-store - it said it would take 2 weeks but 2 days later I got the email that the product arrived. So far - this product has definitely been worth the $10 I paid and I would recommend it for anyone who needs this type of adapter.

Great for getting rid of all the wires.

I bought this to put with my Grandma's computer so she could pick up wifi. We looked at them in the store and they were all $30-50--way too much for a little wifi adapter. This one was one of the cheapest, and it words just the same as any of the other expensive ones would, and it's perfect for my Grandparents; plug it in once, install the software, and you're good to go. Great price for a great product.

Excellent for the price

With 4 out of 5 stars, I decided to by a USB Keebox, also because the price is great. Had trouble with my old PCI wireless because it would interfere with my wife's computer and our home (wireless) phone system when running any kind of media player (which automatically goes on the internet every time it is used).

The Keebox took care of the phone problem, but apparently it still interfers with my wife's old PCI wireless. I believe another Keebox for my wife's computer will cure her computer wireless trouble also. The Keebox works so well on my computer that Ordered another Keebox for my wife's computer. I was quite surprised to see that the Keebox runs at least twice as fast as my old PCI wireless. Another nice surprise, in addition to the price and quality.

Very simple and easy to install.
I do like the fact that it doesn't "stick-out" far enough to get broken off like most of them do.
I found that its signal strength wasn't the best, but the speed was fine once it 'synched' with the router.
The only problem I see with it is that you cannot get _real_ far away from the router, but then this "new" modem-router from slime-warner isn't very good at all, so 'your' router may do better - especially those with external antennas.
At any rate; it IS worth having and I will probably buy more of them just to have around.

Nice Little Item

Well, I bought this for a computer running windows 7. I couldn't get it to work on it though. I tried it on an older laptop that's running windows 8, and it works great. So as far as how well it works when I actually got it working, very good I would say. Hasn't dropped connection yet as far as I can tell. 4/5 because of problems with windows 7.

bought 3 of these and couldn't connect them after installing driver software. Using windows xp and Linksys router. Had to return all 3. I bought 3 netgear ones from walmart.com 8 months ago, and they work awesome!
