    Very Nice, Sturdy & Comfortable

I bought this Futon 25 days ago, it is really very great and great value for the price. It is comfortable 3 to 4 adults to sit and suitable for one Adult to sleep. The length is 5' 75", suitable for persons who 5' 5" to sleep. The Futon is sturdy and very very easy to fix. The look and feel is great. Overall I am very much satisfied for the price and it ships for FREE!!!. :)

This sofa is better than ones i see in local stores. The price is very reasonable compared to some I seen. Firm sitting or laying, may not be what everyone likes but I like it. Wood framing and metal base. I managed to add a headrest with inginuity.

    Perfect little lounge sofa

I've been looking at this sofa for a while, and I finally ordered it. First, the box that was delivered is heavy, I was very surprised by this considering I had to lift the thing up a flight of stairs all by myself. But after I got it in to my apartment I wondered "Why did I wait so long to order this!" I ordered the black, and the color is a very rich ebony in microfiber. It does pick up lint badly, I had little white strands from my carpet all over the surface while I was setting the piece up, however, it was nothing that a lint roller couldn't fix. Keep in mind, this futon is low; the seat falls to about the same height as your average coffee table. I may purchase some bed raisers to give it a little height for my boyfriend who's 6'1", but since I'm 5'1" I don't really mind it so much. A few other reviewers have said this is a twin it's not. It's the size of a twin if someone cut off a foot and a half. As I said, I'm 5'1" and my feet hang off if I lay head to the edge and straight down. Diagonally, I do fit, however. I wouldn't recommend this for an every day sleeper for anyone above 5'3". The only real complaint I have with the sofa is that the legs are NOT wood. The ones I received were a really strange plastic, and they weren't the espresso/dark brown as seen in the picture. That really disappointed me because I wanted something to match the espresso dining table I have in the same room. However, I'm still very happy with the purchase and recommend this to anyone who wants a small sofa-like piece of furniture.

Kebo Futon Sofa Bed: I'm trying to find out if there is a gap between the cushions when folded flat for sleeping... I currently have a "Click Clack" futon and when you fold it flat for sleeping there is a gap that I have to fill in with a rolled up blanket. It is not comfortable at all so I am trying to find out if this is any different. So, do the cushions come together flush when laid flat? Thank you!
    by Kel
    • Yes, it is flat when in the couch position, but it is not comfortable. You can feel something like a hard bar all the way down the lenfth of it which would be right down the middle of your back while you were sleeping. Maybe if you bought a thicker memory foam pad, you could try to put that down over it, but those can be expensive and I think you would need one at least 3-4 inches to cover the feel of the bar down your back.

    • There are three indentations that go down about an inch and 1/2 if you stick your finger into them. They are all the same. The one in the middle (when laid out for sleeping) is flush just like the rest, but it is small in my opinion and may cause a little discomfort if you have a sensitive back.

    • There is not a very big gap b/w the cushions but there is a crease that is not very comfortable. I was surprised that the cushioning is not as comfortable as I was expecting.

my elderly great dane spends most of the day sleeping on "his" couch which is now worn out and needs to be replaced. I've been looking at used couches as I want to keep this new "dog bed" in the $100 range, but I'm worried about other people's germs, bed bugs etc. Any thoughts on it's use for a dog bed? he gets up and down a lot but mostly just lays there. I would plan on keeping a sheet or something on it so I can wash that frequently. I'm sure the cats would use it too. I'm not worried about any accidents or vomit as they usually save that for my shoes. He is about 145#

    • It holds three adults sitting 600 lb limit I am sure it will work for you the dog and cats.

    • Yes I think it would be fine for your Great Dane. I would probably cover it with a comforter then a sheet because it is not as padded as it looks in the photo. It clicks easily into a bed and easily back up if u want a couch back.

    • I am sure your Great Dane would love it. With the sitting area approximately 14" off of the ground, he could probably just step right onto it!

    • I would not buy this for him. It's not that comfortable. My 100 lb daughter uses it, and she can feel the lumpiness (I guess it's the springs inside). In the couch position, the couch is not that deep. My sister has a great dane, and I can't imagine hers fitting comfortably in the couch position. Her legs would have to dangle off. In the bed position, you can feel the uncomfortable bar right down the middle.

    • it would, but it is poorly made, it would be cheaper and last longer if somone could make a twin bed frame with 4x8 plywood sheets and sides and spindles for the legs and throw a big comforter on top, works for one of my dogs. Good Luck

    • Just to say in my opinion. It would work just fine for a dog bed. My son sleeps on his but our dogs love it. But it may not be as cushiony as your dog may like. It just all depends on the softness your dog preffers.

    • If your dog is "elderly" as you say, I would NOT recommend this as a "bed" for the dog. The padding is VERY, VERY, VERY hard and it's not a completely flat surface (hard to describe). I use it as a spare sofa in my home office (not as a bed). I've tried sleeping on it and it was extremely hard and uncomfortable and I'm only 5'2", 102lbs. My back was breaking by the morning. I hope this helps.

I have two puppies, that have torn apart my couch, and I am looking for something they can't completely destroy.

    • No the mattress is not removable. It is stationary and covered with some sort of batting then covered with a micro-suede-like fabric on top and sides. Back is covered with a black cotton-like fabric.

    • No, it is attached. The material does not seem at all durable. We bought this about 5 weeks ago, and you can tell that it will be wearing down. The material is very thin and I worry that it will tear, and it looks like it will start sagging in the middle within the year. Definitely not durable for pets.

    • No, the sitting cushion area is part of the frame, while the backrest is a different piece sewn into the sofa.
