- Remove One Test Strip from Bottle and Place Cap Tightly. Fill Water Sampler Vial to Top Line With Aquarium Water and Dip All Pads Into Water. Holding Strip At End With No Pads, Move Strip Rapidly Up and Down For 30 Seconds Making Sure All Pads Remain In Water. Remove Nd Shake Excess Water from Strip. Hold Strip Level (Pad Side Up) For 30 Seconds. to Read Result, Turn Slip Over So Pads Face Away from You. Compare Color Or End Pad (Smalll Pad) to Color Chart On Enclosed Bottle. Make Sure You Read Result Through Clear Plastic of Strip. Record Results and Dispose of Test Strip. Important: Do Not Place Vial In Bottle After Use.

Good test strips I have found these testing strips to be very useful. I was skeptical at first because of the price, but I figured it would be well worth it for my fish tank. The strips work very well. It's not so much of an estimation since the only real estimates are if your ammonia levels are really high, in which case, it does not matter. They give you quick results and are accurate as long as you do everything correctly. Great product! 02/24/2012
