Yes, if you want to adjust the Ph of your water, these test strips will work. It might be more economical to buy test strips of the same brand that test only for Ph.

I don&#39;t see why you couldn&#39;t test drinking water- I had to get a similar product for twice as much from a pet store because of Walmart not having it in stock. These things also test for nitrates , hardness and chlorine all things you do not want to drink and alkalinity. If you are just interested in only pH I think you could purchase just pH test strips for a little less $.

Can you use these for drinking water to check pH?

Generally speaking, you would not have a 5 gallon salt water aquarium. Salt water aquariums are very particular about salinity and it is very difficult to maintain in such a small tank.

Yes,there is a seperate chart for reading results for salt water and fresh water.

i wish the strips where a little bigger,because im old and my eye site aint that good.but they worked good.

i pretty sure they worked lol. the colors all matched perfectly, except the pH, but it was close enough that i knew where about it went. i also have a digital pH detector so sonce it matched i assume the others did as well.

I did liked it but I need more strips for 4 fish tanks and I found a good test strips with 3 times more for the same price. Very accurate as well.

Good product but not enough count for price

I do with these strips included ammonia (why do they not??), but they seem to do the job. Just follow the instructions carefully.

5-in-1 EasyStrips purchased to check our aquarium water. (new tank, bought several fish, both died within 12hrs). Strips were of no help. None of the colors on the strips matched the guide that was provided. We tried again, and same result. The only one that was remotely close in color was the ph.

We drove 1/2hr to the next town to get our water tested. Everything tested fine EXCEPT the ph.

Called the company and they were sorry- but they wouldn't stand by their product.

Would rate 0 if i could... Didn't work
