you get what you pay for I'm always on the lookout for a good quality lip balm/protectant that can double as a cosmetic (or vice versa). And since my lips have lost volume over the years (I'm 37), when I saw the claims of peptides and lip "amplifiers", along with the impressive ingredient list, I had to give this a try. Unfortunately, this is one of those situations where you really do get what you pay for. The color in the tube is a nice, neutral pink shade, but there is no color payoff when applied. It looks like a clear gloss. This gloss does NOT moisturize, so if you need a balm-like or lip protective product, look elsewhere. The texture of the gloss is rather oily and didn't really sit well on my lips, however, it's not particularly sticky and my hair doesn't get caught in it if it's windy out.Bottom line: don't be fooled by the clever marketing - this is just a plain, no-frills gloss. For the money, it isn't a terrible product, just be realistic about what to expect from a $6 gloss. 11/01/2011
