Driving is easy with the foot pedal accelerator, automatic brakes and dual rear driving wheels. With a 2-speed gearshift, it travels at 2-1/4 or 4-1/2 mph, plus reverse. Parents will appreciate the adjustable seat as well as the adult-activated 4-1/2 mph lockout feature that keeps rookie drivers moving at a safe speed until they master this ride-on toy.

Well worth the cost I bought this for my 2 year old grandson for Easter. He loves it, although to him it is a big truck and not a tractor! I was on the fence about it for a few weeks. So glad I decided to buy it. It is very sturdy and , best of all, it is made in the USA. Need I say more? 04/17/2012
GREAT Product! Great Price! I usually don't write reviews, but as a parent I can't tell you how much money I've wasted buying junk so when I find something exceptionally good, I thought it was worth passing on! We got this tractor last fall after we returned the Yamaha blue 4-wheeler that stopped working after 3 days (and even when it worked it was horrible!#. Luckily Walmart took it back no problem so we decided to go with this one. My son is 2.5 and is comfortable driving in second gear and loves using the reverse too, but I should note, second gear hauls a** for a kids battery vehicle! He drives on all sorts of rough terrain and over lots of little bumps and does great #when he actually drives on tar it goes almost too fast in my opinion, not his!#. The battery holds well, it does take awhile to charge when it finally wears out, but he gets a day out of riding and we charge over night. He loves the trailer and while I wish it was a little more heavy duty #it's just cheap plastic), it's light and he can manuever it himself. I do like the seat on this versus the 4-wheeler because i feel like he's a little more stable and comfortable while he's still in the "do-before-I-think" stage.The only comment I would have about this is I wish you could buy upgraded rubber wheels because I feel like the machine itself will far outlast the plastic wheels, but most kids vehicles have them so I can't just blame this one. Also, it was a bit more difficult than others to put together, but we did it just fine, just took some time, the stickers more than anything are a pain. Good vehicle, next summer we're looking to also get the Gator with how pleased we are with Peg Perego! 04/25/2012
