love this stereo !!! awesome value. YOU WILL NEVER MISS CD'S WIRELESS IS THE WAY TO GO!!!I UPDATED THE FIRMWARE WITHIN MINUTES OF INSTALLING IT.you can find the update here http://www3.jvckenwood.com/english/car/support/navi/r50/index.htmleverything works as advertised only problem is no tags over bluetooth on android except with pandora not a big deal though(this is most likely my phone ymmv).works with a USB hub.sounds great and even better after i got new jvc speakers.bluetooth calling is great no complaints from callers on quality. phone book and calls list on the unit is nice.two phones can be connected at the same time and the unit can light up different colors for each phone when it rings. the illumination has almost infinite color settings and different colors for day and night with dimmer if you hook it up to headlights.i am very satisfied with this it does more than i expected and the price is the icing on the cake. 05/01/2012
Great when the bluetooth works With much anticipation I purchased this unit and installed it in my cherokee without any problems.I love this stereo however the bluetooth option is giving me some problems. I can pair my phone with it no problem but all of a sudden without any reason it just drops the bluetooth connection. I can be parked and connected and speaking on my phone through its system and it will just drop the phone. When you try to reconnect all you get is error error error. Not until I actually go in and delete my phone from the stereo and set it all up again will it pair...when i do that it lasts for maybe a day and then the same thing happens. I am finding myself having to do this on a daily basis. I am thinking about returning the stereo because the fact it had bluetooth connectivity was one of my main reasons for purchasing it. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2. I am not sure if that is the problem or not. I am going to try my friends phone and see if it stays connected or not.If anyone has experienced this problem and has a remedy please let me know..thanks 03/26/2012
