Best BOOMBOX on the market! My Co-worker has one and it is the BEST! it sounds Great! and after hearing his, I had to have one! If you get one you won't be disapointed! BIG BASS! when they named it Kaboom! THEY MET IT! PUMP UP DA BASS! overall the best there is! JVC is quality built and made to last! I like how you can jack in a USB Zip drive and your I-Pod or your I-Phone and it is locked in for security so it won't get banged around! and the remote is Quality built ! can't say enough about this BoomBox! Wal-Mart should carry this at there stores, ordering on line from Wal-mart is second best, They give the best price Anywhere! Thank You Wal-Mart! 09/21/2011
I have had to retire my JVC Kaboom! portable CD player after over 13 years of sometimes 24 hours a day listening to excellent sound quality. I am a Commercial Union Carpenter and have carried my Kaboom! box from one dangerous , filthy dirty construction site to the next. I have told all my co-workers that if you mess with my Kaboom it would be like messing with my child and I would tear them apart. My co-workers would miss me if I was sent to another job because they couldn't listen to my Kaboom!, stating it sounds better than they're home stereo systems. I have left it playing over night quite a few times forgetting to turn it off and walking back onto a job to great sound quality. It has been dropped, quite a few feet, has been in a downpour of rain with water running threw it very often, covered in spackle dust, and even used as a chock (accidently) when a truck with a trailer attached rolled back into it stopping the truck in its tracks!! When the screws that held the speakers on stripped good ole duct tape held them on. I purchased a second one 8 years ago that I use in my backyard that has been used as an amp for an electric guitar, and a microphone and is still in mint condition, however now will have to be my work companion. Fear not I am now ordering yet my third JVC Kaboom! Box with the I pod dock so as to use my Iphone and Ipod's also. If this is not a recommendation to purchase this top quality product, I don't know what is! 10/08/2011
I lovvvvveeeee my JVC Kaboom! I just got it yesterday but it's all that I expected and then some. Great sound, great options! Thank you Wal-Mart for free site to store shipping. Oh, I received it 4 days after I placed the order (fast shipping)! I thought the remote batteries were supposed to be included but they were not. Awesome product! 04/14/2012
