No, There actually open air which means they have very little noise isolation. I wouldn't look for noise-canceling headphones though. If you need them to block out noise you should look for noise isolating headphones. Most cheap noise canceling headphones will leave a constant light fuzzy noise in the background of the audio. Noise isolating headphones on the other hand just block out noise by creating a seal around you ears so there's no added electronics to raise the price of the headphones.

these are not noise canvelling, but tend to drowned out the noise as i listen to audiobook while my husband has the tv on...and i use them in the car, works great for me.. the headphones are big that fit over your ear is comfortable, but probably not used for high activitys such as jogging. they sound great with my audiobooks..

They are not noise canceling headphones. They do,however, keep the audio from others.

The sound quality is good, but the head harness is made of plastic, hard plastic, but plastic. I would have preferred metal, but the hard plastic is OK.

The ear cups and headband parts are quite durable, but the cord I can see being a possible issue if you are not always careful. Why? The cord is a little thin and connected to one ear cup, so if you yank too hard, or trip, etc., you could hurt the wire. Otherwise, they are decent quality in both construction and sound quality. These should be way more than $13, so quite a deal.

No, spend a little more and get the Inland Stereo Headphones. They are $15 and GREAT and very durable.

Very Durable. It has an 8 foot cord which makes it very easy to move around. I did drop mine, once but with not ill effect.

Yes! They are durable and really comfortable. My 12 yr old son is pretty rough on them, taking quite a few drops etc with no problem. I was so impressed I am getting a pair for myself and I'm a music lover.
