Does what I want it to do This turntable plays 33, 45, and 78 records and can be connected to your computer a number of ways: headphone/ lineout jacks and RCA jacks for connecting to the sound card, or USB. It also has a small speaker so you could use it as a standalone record player (although for this purpose you might want to connect it to a pair of powered computer/bookself speakers). I have other software for sound capture and conversion to MP3's, so I haven't tried the included software. In all, this unit is great for archiving my old vinyl collection and is at a great price too. 11/16/2008
Great product This turntable is very easy to use. I used the ez vinyl converter; the recordings sounded very good, considering that some of the records were 40+ years old. The sound from the turntable when used as a stand-alone unit (very convenient!) is decent but would probably sound better if hooked up to a stereo system. I love it! 11/02/2008
