    Awesome for the river

I purchased this from amazon about 2 years ago and it is still going strong. I have used it to go down the salt river in Arizona and even over the rocks and bumps it is still holding up. The ice chest in the middle is perfect for soda, water, sandwiches, etc. Very good product, at this price I will definitely buy again when mine gives out!

My husband and I live near the gulf and we were looking for something to anchor out off of the beach. This was perfect! We tied a rope to an anchor, put some drinks in the cooler, and we were able to hang out in the ocean without drifting with the current. We thought this would also be perfect to float down a river. It does not come with an air supply so I reccomend getting a foot pump to blow it up.

This float exceded my expections by a long shot. We love it! My husband and I spent the entire day Saturday on the lake in the float. Well, well worth the money. Thank you Walmart!

    • I have an electric and a battery air pump that both came with different size attachments. You should be able to find all that in the camping section of Walmart.

    • Check where they sell bike pumps and see if they have an adapter for it. Should look like a cone shaped piece that would go on the end of the pump.

    • You need a raft pump, with the smaller pump attachment and the larger one too. They usually come with three different sizes to use.

    • 12v air pump (connects to the car's outlet) is excelent for this product. it inflates in about a minute (I use coleman, paid $11 for it and use it for other products too.)

    • That should do the job nicely. Though you could save a few dollars and get one that plugs into your car's cigarette lighter.

    • It definitely holds your sitting weight fine. I'd imagine if you tried standing up in it, it would rip, but we've been sitting in it for hours and have used it several times and it's still as good as new.

    • Yes the mesh is of a plastic material not fabric.

    • Pretty sturdy, they stood up to be dragged across rocks on a ten mile trip down the Delaware Water Gap. Of course they are not indestructible, but the mesh didn't break on their maiden voyage.

    • Yes they do! I weigh 200, my sister about 180, we both floated around in them just fine. Even enough room to turn around in the seat to face backwards when talking to each other.

    • We loaded up several "types" of beverages for our floating time. 15 cans and several water bottles, with a little more room to spare. Nice!!!

    • The cooler is much larger than the picture makes it look. It's deep, I put a tiny cooler inside of it that holds 8 drinks. If you filled the cooler with ice you could probably put 12 or more drinks/beer in it. The blow up cooler stays cool, even in 100 degrees weather. I was very impressed! The blow up lid has a velcro closure-which is nice. :)

    • We can usually fit a camera, small portable radio, 3 coverups, snacks and a bag of wine in it. We don't take beer because the ice tends to melt, and it's easier to drink out of cups than cans.

    • Well, if the float doesn't leak at the seams & sink on you... the cooler, from what I remember could probably fit a good sized watermelon in it.

    • I depends on whether or not you plan to put ice in the cooler. If you put ice in the cooler, then you could probably put in a 12 pack of cans. It has a nozzle at the bottom of the cooler, so you can unplug it and let the cool lake water in (therefore not needing any ice). If you chose that option, then of coarse you could fit more drinks in.
