Rated 4 out of 5 by taduntadunt Great product and price but.. This is a great product and Wal-Mart had it at a great price. My only complaint is with Intex. The product has an adapter for the outgoing side but not one for the incoming (from pool pump). After 3 calls and navigating the Intex Website i finally learned they do not sell the piece you need. It matches up great if you have both Intex Pool and Intex salt system, my pool was the walmart brand.. good luck. 06/30/2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rich2481 Not what I expected I live in Tucson, I put this with a large Hayward filter ( sand ) on my Walmart 15x42 pool.. It either complained not enough salt or too much,, Remember if this does not work ( which with the too much or too little salt, the machine cannot and wont produce Chlorine) I went from low to high in a matter of half a bag, and unless you empty out your pool and start again, the over salt does not go away,, Even after backwashing half my pool out, I was still getting a high Salt error. I finally ( leaving it in so far) went back to chlorine and burnout, I have a solar cover and at times the water was 100 degrees, so I cut that in half and the water temp went down to low 90's. Too hot of water will burn your chlorine out also. Rain water will give you algae. I wish this had a light in the tube to kill algae also.This product might work for others, but it doesnt work for me, I might have a defective one or not,, the other is I set it to run for 5 hours and my filter for 6,, there is a flap that is supposed to turn it on when water flow is sensed,, it beeps all the time after the filter shuts down and say low water flow,, well it is supposed to be shut off but beeps for Hours... 08/23/2012

It is very easy to hook it up too,but one thing I didn't know and no one had said anything about it and you are still going to use the pump that comes with the pool along with this one but it's no big deal. We just thought it would not be used at all. Anyway it is easy and makes the water feel wonderful and so clear!!!!! 06/21/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by SCTrojan96 Excellent Product! I have a 12' Intex metal frame pool that, in the past, was filtered only by the pump/filter that came with the pool. What a mess! Algae, poor water conditions and very difficult, as well as time consuming to care for. I decided to purchase the Krystal salwater system, as well as upgrade to a 1000 gallons per hour Intex filter (necessary with this unit). Let me tell you what a dream this has been. Dumped about 50 lb's of salt in the water and have the Krystal and Intex pump on a 4 hour timer at night and all the levels are pretty much right on! No need to add chlorine etc! Very impressed! I can keep the pool up all summer now without worrying about water conditions. A must buy if you plan on leaving your pool up! 07/28/2011
