  • A. If electrical power is not available then any Intex inflation pump (manual, battery, DC…etc) can be connected to the control dial valve for inflation. Turn the control dial clockwise until the arrow points to the inflation mark. Insert the air pump nozzle into the control dial value to inflate.

  • A. Yes, you can insert a nozzle from an Intex pump in the center of the black dial and inflate with either a manual or electric pump if you are not near an outlet or the built-in pump is not working. Make sure you turn the dial to the left so that air can be added to the bed, once the bed is full, turn the dial back to the right.

  • A. Don't think so. The pump is connected to the fill/empty valve. You don't need a pump, it's included with this mattress.

  • A. There is no manufacturer warranty on this product. That being said, there is a 90 day courtesy service program that the manufacturer offers for this product. One must have a copy of their reciept and contact Intex consumer service department in order to take advantage of this service program.

  • A. There is no manufacture's warranty on the bed, ask a Wal-Mart employee before purchase as to what the return or exchange policy is at your store, however, it is usually a 15 day period.

  • A. I do not know of a warranty for air matteses. However if you have a defective unit you should call 1800WALMART and have it replaced or demand a refund. I had the same product, replaced it once, second time around same issues again so I am getting a refund...you have something like 90 days from purchase to do this. Mine was falling apart from the get go so was the second one its been a disaster!

I Use This Every Night... Not A Good Idea!

Ok, so I don't have a bed so I purchased this airbed in full size after my last one got punctured after having it for years and sleeping on it regularly for 6 months. I purchased this because I didn't want to spend too much money and most of the reviews were good. I bought mine in January 2014 and after about 2 months one of the lines in the mattress (that makes it rift in the mattress) disbanded and I had a big hump in my air bed that would not go down! I mean I would sit on it, lay on it, deflate the airbed and inflate it again but nothing worked. I decided to write a review because just 5 minutes ago another line in the mattress has disbanded halfway. And I've had this mattress for less than three full months! It's crazy. If you want an air mattress for temporary use that you'll use "sparingly," this may be a good one, but if you need one because you don't have a bed, I would suggest not to get it.

I wanted to write this review because when I bought this bed a few months ago I went on here and was almost detered to purchase it due to some of the negative reviews. But since my bestfriend was coming to NY and staying with me a few days I bought it anyway and figured for the price at least it would be worth it even for 1 month. She stayed on it for 4 days and then wanted to know where I bought it and the cost so she could get one for her guests.Fast forward to hurricane Sandy when I had to leave my home for several days and lug this with me it also stood up greatly. Now my step son sleeps on it every other weekend. And lastly my 2 nieces slept on it last week for 3 days. Its sturdy no holes folds back up nicely and pumps up super quick! I highly recommend it.Im not sure about the other negative feedback perhaps they got a defective bed and also this bed is NOT meant for every day use (for those who have opted to do so and then complain) .

I bought this airbed because they had a limited selection at my local walmart. I wanted the one without the built in air pump and the uncomfortable "pillow". I took good care of the bed while it was in use. I had it on a movers blanket so it would not abrade due to any possible movements. I also had a memory foam topper on it making it more comfortable. After about a month the bed started leaking at a seam towards the foot of the bed, sealed it up and it lasted a few weeks. Then it started leaking from the seam in the adjacent channel and I fixed that one as well. Lastly the inner seams must have come loose because it started bulging, so now I had two awesome "pillows". I have family members that have had airbeds with hundreds of days use without any of these issues. BTW this bed has now warranty, so if you finally get tired of dealing with any problems and you've owned it for more than 90 days, just lost your money. Only reason you even have 90 days is due to walmarts return policy and even then it would be an exchange.

Bubble after 4 months!

I purchased this bed in a full size in December. In January a friend started staying with us and has used it every night. No complaints except the occasional slight deflation but just this week it got this huge bubble in over half of the bed. There is no way to sleep around it and I spent about 80bucks on it so I'm pretty disappointed considering there were others for 30-40 bucks but this one seemed good for some reason so I spent more expecting better quality. I definitely thought a hole would be my issue before a bubble would but apparently there isn't a warranty so nothing to do about it. Very upset and will not purchase this brand again or recommend it. I did read online you shouldnt keep an air mattress inflated too much or it will wear out the vinyl too much which i guess makes sense but i had read about people sleeping on them every night and there was no instructions that said that! my mistake i guess but im no air mattress maker how would i know ! The worst part is now our temporary roommate has to sleep on the couch !! :(. Thanks for nothing intex!
