Why would you rather sleep on the couch, floor or a futon with a bar in your back when for $13 measly dollars you can sleep in comfort? I am 6' 3" 275lbs and it has supported me for a month with no issues. I bought this to toss over the (above mentioned) futon that I have in the back room of my shop. It fits like it was made especially for my 6' futon. I don't know the exact durability for something that never goes outside, but for what I paid, it is still holding air! I give it a shot of air about every 4-5 days, mostly to keep it firm for my taste, not because its "flat". So overall Value: 10 out of 10 for price Durability: 8 out of 10 based on what I paid, It isnt a $100 camping mattress. Meets Expectations: 11 out of 10 because its ONLY $13! If you used it once, it would pay for itself and its by far cheaper than one night in a motel.

This airbed has provided a month of sleep-filled nights without having to replenish any air in the first month I have had the bed. The only slight difficulty was finding an air-pump nozzle that fit the bed's air intake. I made it work, carefully, but once full, I haven't had a problem since then because I haven't had to refill the bed at all. Suggestions: buy a foam mattress cover and a comforter to go with your pillow and twin-sized fitted sheets, and this bed is about as comfy as a far more expensive mattress. Lastly, make sure to order the mattress online rather than going into the store to buy off the shelf. Your local store may have it already in stock. But if you try to buy the same or a similar air bed at the Walmart store without ordering online, you'll pay as much as 3 times the amount. I recommend buying online and picking it up at the store thereafter, or having it delivered.

Bought it for my 4 yr. old grandaughter's sleepover. Put a childs bed tent on it and she loved it!!! Easy to inflate and deflate with electric air pump, easy storage.

    • No one can really answer that question for you. People with or without issues have preferences on mattress stiffness. So you can make it as stiff and tight or loose as is comfortable for you. Occassionally my back doesn't feel so great. I love this mattress. It's cheap enought to try without loosing sleep. It's only $10-$15. Even if it didn't meet your comfort level, you could return it swiftly or just keep it for an emergency over night guest bed. At any rate, not a loss.

    • Yes !! I have a 10 yr. old select comfort/sleep number bed. It is the best way of sleeping I have found for my back condition. The answer is air my friends. My select comfort was leaking so badly that I replaced the air bladder with the Intex air mattress. I am sleeping like a baby. You just have to find the right firmness for You (what they call on TV, 'your sleep number').

    • You can fill it to your needs --really full or less so. I would say it will be up to you to sleep on it and inflate or deflate as needed for your back support.

    • You should not inflate this using a hair dryer.

    • Only if you have some little filter head that funnels the air down to a one inch circular to fit in the air socket. So...that's pretty much a no. Walmart sales a $4 pump. Just get that.

    • It's a very small opening. I can't imagine how you could effectively funnel the air in there. Get the Hand Pump made by the same company. Works fine, fast and is inexpensive.

    • No Kal, I don't think so...You need to buy a pump separately. It will cost you $12-16. Thanks

    • Don't recommend it, it will take you forever, and could damage the product. Either buy a separate pump or use a vacuum where you can attach hose to air exiting exhaust. The hole is smaller than a vacuum hose opening so you may need an adapter but I was able to just press the vacuum hose against the air entrance hole. I decided to buy one with built in electric pump and it is worth the bit of extra money rather than trying to figure out how to inflate this one.
