Yes, Just plug the intake and outlet holes with the black plugs, pour a package of shock in it, stir it up and put on the cover, I would make sure my pump is drained and dried really good, store it away in your garage .

It is recommended to drain and store the pool during times of the year where the temperature will drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

We choose not too, because that would be more pool maintenance than we want to do all year. We put up May 30-Oct 1. That works for us.
We have a lot of wind where we are and to keep it clean would be toooo much work for our busy family.

you can but since it will be exposed to the elements these pools really last longer if you take them down in winter and put them back up. taking them down is really not that hard. it takes up 1 hr. to put up and 1 to take down. our first one lasted 6 yrs. because we took it down every winter. It also stays cleaner if you take it down and store it, so not much cleaning involved in the summer.

We left ours up for 3 years in a row. We would drain it and then when it came time to fill it we scrubbed it and emptied out whatever water that would get into it from the rain. You can try to cover it which is what we did the first year but the cover ripped with the weight of the rain water on it.

No can't handle a snow load and freezing water must take down and store.you can buy a steel walled above ground pool to keep up all year long. I know because I have owned many pools for over 30 years.

It is not recommended to leave the pool out during the winter. Frigid temperatures may cause the PVC to crack.

my answer would be no, definetly not! Because the poles and everything are already shaped for the round pool, and the liner wouldnt fit right!

Since the seams are made to be round, I would not change the shape or it could stress them.

If the Intex 15' x 48" Above Ground Pool is set up correctly it will keep its circular shape. Manipulating the pool into a different shape can create a safety hazard. it includes a ground tarp, filter, ladder, and cover. Not sure what you mean by liner is... we only had to buy a chlorine thing that floats in the water, chlorine tabs, and a net to get the bugs out.

Yes the liner is included, also the tarp for underneath, pool cover, ladder, and pump with one filter in it! I would buy extra filters, maybe a pool starter kit... with net and chlorine dispenser, and chemicals. But that should be about all u would need!

Does pool come with filter or is that xtra?

Yes everything but chemicals are included. But the ladder is very cheap. I bought a seperate ladder and paid as much for it as I did the pool but I feel much safer getting in and out of the pool

The pool is a thick vinyl material. One piece. Not like the old type that had a wall and then you put in the liner. Mine came with everything I needed. I opted to also purchase the salt water system to add to the pump. Supposed to be less maintenance.

You dont need anything extra really, it comes with a liner but we used a 2nd liner which we bought separately because we live on hard ground

Upgrade to a sand pump and add a side skimmer.  Level the ground and put wide supports under the legs. Then ENJOY!!!

Important

Overall, a great pool for the price. But the pool can't just be used as is out of the box. You either have to buy chemicals for it or a saltater system. We got a saltwater system because the chemicals were going to cost about the same as the whole saltwater  system. $115 for the system, $20 for the salt, $25 for filters that need changing every 2 weeks, and $40 for the intex pool cleaning kit. Be prepared to buy all these things. The ladder is kind of flimsy and wobbly when you're at the top. Fine for kids and myself but I know my mom or my husbands mom would have a really hard time with it. The ground cover is a jock, its so thin. We put down a thick tarp under it. Otherwise, great pool. Easy to set up.
