    Rated 4.2 out of 5★ by 942reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Can't beat the price! I actually got this pool on sale for $249 during the off season month. But whether you pay $249 or the regular price of $299, you can't beat the price for what you get. You get everything you need to instantly set up your pool. Yes, I've read reviews that the filter is cheap. Mine ran fine this summer and yes, I'll probably upgrade to a better filter next year. This package gives a family that is watching their budget, a great opportunity to have a nice size pool in their own backyard that I thought would have never been possible. (see pic)One important note. Make sure your ground is level to fully enjoy the pool. Intex has a great online video that shows how to level the ground yourself. 08/01/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by 15 x 48 pool I love this pool. Great price great product. I however hate the ladder. The ladder I would give a 0 but the pool is a 10 in my book. Easy to set up. My daughter and I set it up in 2 hours and it was easy. The filter is wonderful and easily cleans the pool. Highly recommending it to all my friends and family. 07/19/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Great pool for the price. I bought this pool for my 8 yr old son for the summer. No problem setting it up, but we did level the ground. Instructions were not included for setting up the pool, it's basically common sense. There were instructions for everything else. When we started filling up the pool, it had two holes in it. I contacted Intex, and they were willing to replace...after I showed proof of purchase, cut the pool up and sent them three specific pieces. I was not willing to risk them taking all summer to replace, so we just patched it which worked perfectly for us. My son has gotten my money's worth out of it already! 06/28/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Very Good Love the pool. Ladder is a little sketchy but hey you get what you pay for. Otherwise, the pool is very sturdy and perfect size for my husband and I and a few friends. We bought the salt water system because the pump the pool comes with is so tiny and you would have to use so many chemicals. Salt water is the way to go and saves you money. 05/25/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Good Pool For The Money! I bought this pool for my kids and it was easy to set up. We also bought a salt water pump and it is keeping the pool very clear. I would recommend this pool and the Intex Salt water pump as well! 06/28/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Great Great pool, easy to set up. I have well water, and filled my pool, so I feel as if I need a better filter and pump system. The ladder could be a little more sturdy too. But for the price it is a great pool. It came with the pool, a ground cover, pump, with size A filter, a ladder, and a pool cover. Also, the liner is printed white with blue squares on it, it's way awesome. 07/19/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Good pool for not a lot of money! I have read several of the other reviews concerning this pool, and I must say that part of me was skeptical when I bought it but I just couldn't afford the $900 version.Needless to say, the pool was fairly easy to assemble, and has thus far provided good quality.Easy assembly; with two people it took approximately 45 minutes to set up the entire pool. The pool took around 8.5 hours to fill. It did have one small pin hole in the liner. My recommendation, since I had read about the pin hole issue, is that I filled the pool to about four inches and then drained it by syphoning out the water with a water hose. I then lifted the liner to see if any water was underneath. There was a small bit of water underneath one side. I then got in the pool, located the pin hole, and patched it with the provided patch kit. Once that was done. The pool worked fine. Besides using the four inches of water to check for leaks, it also works well to identify if you have unlevel areas. Mine was about half an inch low on one side, so I was able to back fill some sand on that side and fix my level before I had a pool full of 4440 gallons of water to deal with. Just food for thought.I also recommend getting in and straightening our the wrinkles in the liner once about four inches of water are in the pool.I've heard a lot of people say that it took longer to assemble the ladder. This wasn't true in my case, unless they have upgraded the ladder, it assembled in about ten minutes and was very simple. Mine also wasn't as wobbly as others have complained about, narrow still, but not shaky, but who knows. Also, I've heard people say that it doesn't come with a ground cloth, mine did.The pump could stand to be a little bigger, but I keep mine running 24/7 and it keeps the pool clean just fine. I know a lot of people don't want to spend the extra money on electricity to do this, but the overall expense isn't that much and I would rather have a clean pool season round.Honestly, the hardest part of putting up the pool is leveling the ground. It took me about two days to prepare the spot I needed to level. Ensure that if you use sand that you put blocks of wood or pavers under the feet of the poles to prevent sinking. Also, whatever you use, ensure that the item under the feet is not pressing into the pool liner once it starts to fill; especially if it has an edge or point to it. I used pavers and had to keep adjusting them as the pool filled to ensure that they didn't press into it.So that is my review. I hope it is helpful. It is a good pool for a family on a budget, or lacking the space available in their yard to put in an in-ground pool. It is not the top-of-the-line pool, but for the price you can't expect it to be. However, with a little preparation and forethought during set up, you can bypass some of the issues that other people have seemingly experienced. 04/19/2012
Rated 1 out of 5★ by I am very annoyed. I am on pool number two. The first pool was purchased memorial weekend. We put it all together and filled it up only to find it had a hole in it. We took it all apart and took it back to Wal-mart. They were out of pools so we had to order. It just came in this week (1 week later than ETA). We put it all together and filled it up, only to have it split at the seam and create an enormous mess. I will be calling Intex in the morning to see what they will do to fix this!!!! 07/08/2011
