Rated 5 out of 5★ by ange19bunny Great for the kids! This pool is just the right size for our family -- wide enough to make my husband happy, deep enough to thrill my kids (ages 2 and 3, they're tall for their ages...), and shallow enough for me to not worry so much about them until they're more confident swimmers. Easy enough to set up and it didn't take as long as we thought it would to fill. 05/14/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by petersdeal Nice little pool yes, ended up picking one up at K-mart, anyway. its a nice little pool, great for my 5 year old daughter and her little friends. Had to purchase, a cover, a mat to place it on, a ladder, a thermometer, a chlorine floater, extra filters and a dozen different chemicals and test strips. The only issue has been keeping it not cloudy. The 530 gph paper filter pump is not effecient enough to keep pool crystal clear. I am keeping pump on for about 8 hours a day when not in use and after it is used I keep it on for about 24hrs at least, after about 3 weeks I noticed a slime on pool sides and bottom. Then started adding a super algecide 2 times a week and scrubbing sides, it gets clear after 24 hours pumping, that is taking out the filter once a day and washing out with hose., replacing after 2 wks at $4 to $5 each. It gets clear and non slimy, but as soon as people get in, its cloudy again. I do use the water hose vacum system once a week. I shock once a week and keep a 1" chlorine tab into floater all the time, I never been able to get a chlorine rating on my test strip. Anyway, I am purchasing a Intex 1600 gallon sand pump for $143 sand is $10, and a Intex Salt Generator system $139, 2 bags of salt $10. I am gonna empty pool, clean, put in fresh water, Chlorine Stabilizer Cyuric acid and salt, run filter for a day, then turn on salt generator. According to rave reviews, I will have a clear, non chemical pool. We will see....I will say I don't like that you have to fumble (remove clamp and remove 2 tubes from filter pump) with the intake and output water tubes coming in and out of filter pump, as water shoots out of these tubes, if you lift the top of the filter vessel to change filter, water gushes out like a fountain, I found out the first time, and couldn't close because the rubber ring would not sit properly as water was gushing out of top. You must twist air release valve before starting up pump. 05/31/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by rockingringer Had this pool for a couple of weeks. great value good quality, easy to set up. only con was adding a saltwater system to the filter pump that came with it , had to go to the hardware store and buysome adapters and additional hoses to connect both filter and saltwater system. but the saltwater system is the only way to go. add salt from charts and put in and your're basically done with chemicals. just right depth for 4 and five year olds. first birthday party in pool was worth the cost!!!! 06/15/2013
