The inner pot is heavy duty (food grade 18/8) stainless steel. It does not have a non-stick coating.
I have had no trouble with food sticking in mine.
I once made lasagna in it and a little ground beef and noodle burnt to the bottom. I was worried, but it all came off with very little effort.
The inside bottom may become dull or splotchy looking over time due to the salt and other minerals in foods.
It can be restored to shiny new-ness with a simple vinegar soak.

The inner pot is stainless steel. Food doesn&#39;t really stick to it. If it does, then soak it. This is better than a teflon nonstick pot because this pot won&#39;t peel like teflon. It can&#39;t, being stainless steel.

This is said to be a 5 quart pressure cooker; however, it is suggested not to fill the pot more than half way just to keep the steam valve from clogging and smelling.

The IP LUX60-ENW has 10 micro-processor controlled programs and is a 6-in-1 pressure cooker. The IP-DUO60-ENW has 14 micro-processor controlled programs and is a 7-in-1 pressure cooker that can also make yogurt.

The DUO model has low pressure and high pressure and can make yogurt (has 3 different temperature settings for the steps involved in making yogurt).

My family loves beans, of all kinds; but slow cooker is too slow and stovetop has to be watched for burning and boiling over. Beans and ham hocks out of the bag and done (including letting it depressurize) in an hour. Lots of other recipes I'm ready to try. Have been advised by friends to buy more rings and accessories to have on hand, which are on order. LOVE LOVE LOVE this pot.

Great pot, completely safe

I've had stove top pressure cookers because I used to live where artichokes were grown, and a pressure cooker is the only way to cook artichokes without boiling away the flavor.   It was always problematic to keep the heat right after the pot was pressurized.  Not hard, but you had to be there. This electric pressure pot is beautifully engineered and simple to operate, and can be left unsupervised once you set the program.  I am thrilled to have this piece of technology that makes so many wonderful tasting vegetable dishes easy.

Instant Pot is magnificent

I cannot believe it took me so long to find this, the Instant Pot is absolutely amazing. You can really feel the quality as soon as you take it out of the box. The best way to describe it. It’s a slow cooker, which cooks fast. Which is great for me as a mom, because I don’t have to plan ahead as much. I can make food in large quantities, which saves money and provides left overs. Its replacing so much in my kitchen, I no longer need my rice cooker or my slow cooker to name a few. It’s quite amazing, I can sauté my veggies or chicken right in the stainless steel pot before I pressure cook them. Makes cooking and CLEANING way easier!! I was concerned about it being a steel pot vs. a non-stick for cleaning, but the stainless is very good quality and cleans super easy. PLUS the added bonus of being able to cook on it in the instant pot is fantastic. When I was doing research on electric pressure cooker, while trying to find recipes, there are countless videos on YouTube. Its great following along to a recipe using the exact same unit as in the video, makes it easy to follow along. I’m glad this included the silicon mitts, because I wouldn’t have bought them separately… but I use them every time I use my instant pot (which is often). All in All, extremely happy. If you are even thinking about this, get it, I’m sure you will be happy too.

WOW, great add to my kitchen!

I've had this for less than 2 weeks and have used it 6 times and I love it!  Its easy to use and helps streamline my cooking.  Clean up of the inner stainless steel pot is surprisingly easy.  I browned meat on the Sauté function, and had various "stuck on" food, but a quick &lt;5 minute soak in hot water and everything came off easily, no scrubbing.  My best meal so far was today's beef vegetable soup, made with 2 lbs of frozen stew meat I got out of the freezer...50 min later (that includes the time to come up to pressure) I had one of the best beef vegetable soups I've made; I'm thrilled!  This will definitely be made often through our wicked cold winter!! I cook a lot, eat Paleo, own slow cookers, and all kinds of helpful kitchen tools, and I can say this is a VERY useful addition to my kitchen; I would highly recommend it!

Works great!  Food is tender!  Easy to use. Easy to clean.  Did NOT get the mits. One of the reasons I ordered this one . It was $12 higher than other 6 quart . So just order regular 6 quart!

Instant pot

Unlike the other ones out there this one has a stainless steel "tub"/bowl.  It's supposed to last longer and not peel.  The non-stick tend to peel after many uses and washes.  I am very pleased with how user friendly it is.  We have had to increase the cooking time on some of the dishes, depending upon how frozen they are.  The rice has had to be cooked longer than proposed in the cookbook but you play it by ear until you get it.  It's easy to increase cooking time.  You will not be disappointed.  The beans are ready in minutes as opposed to hours.

Easy to use

This pot works well. The only learning curve I had was making time adjustments. There were two different suggestions for roast beef, one in recipe, one in time chart. I would recommend going with the recipe, for tenderness. The flavor was excellent, though. As for rice, do Not leave it on the keep warm setting, because it will start to clump. 

Those are just time issues, which we all learn with anything new I think. Beyond that I love the saute feature, but be sure to really de-glaze the pan by gently scraping with a silicone spatula all around the bottom, if you saute. Otherwise there may be some scorched bits. If de-glazed  properly, it works perfectly and you can easily thicken the juices and liquid in the pot by switching as recommended and cooking it down a bit.

I am keeping it, since it cuts my ' stand and watch it cook' time as with other appliances.

Instat Pot LUX60 Stainless Steel 6 in 1

All the recipe books talk about "High Pressure" and "Low Pressure", but this pot has no such settings.  The recipes that came with the pot and limited.  Not sure I'm going to get full use of this.  If this is a "latest model" as claimed, the instructions should explain how to adapt the older model's recipes.

No Recipes - disappointed

Was excited about product until reality revealed pot   first meal. Diagnostic C1 sensor. Called support, woman says go on line start a ticket. What? I can't do that on the phone? Also take a picture of pot with error. Don't trust me? Called Walmart and they refunded purchase price, the only good experience from the story.
