Good Buy Does all you need for home auto diagnosis. On my Camry, at least, it operates slightly differently than the Owners Manual suggests. The unit lights up and displays 'READ' as soon as you plug it in, even with no key in the ignition. However, it will not read the codes until you turn the ignition to ON.
