Inland 3600 Joules SurgeGuard 8 Outlet Black Surge Protector 4.8 5 65 88
So Far, So Good I've had this surge protector for about a month. In that time, due to bad weather, there have been a few power outages (and probably surges) but all my electronics are still alive.Electronics plugged into surge protector:50" Samsung Plasma TVAT&T Cable ReceiverXboxHome Theater Receiver 01/12/2009
Needed protection, Got protection... CHEAP!!! Reasonably designed; well priced in light of cost per joule of protection ($/Jp), space allotted for 'wall warts' (power adapters for low voltage stuff), Right-angle Plug (Allows you to keep your furniture close to the walls) is a feature that all surge protectors should have (although a 45° offset would be even better so as not to obscure the lower receptacle jack). For the price, I'd buy it again if I needed another one. 06/18/2009
Great Price I bought this model specifically because it had 3600 joules and was priced well. The higher joule rating, the better protection. This model has an indicator light that tells you if the protection components are functioning. It has 8 outlets. 5 which are side by side and 3 on the other that are spaced apart for larger "boxy" plugs.Features a right angle plug.It has a "connected equipment warranty" on the back of box and it also tells you where to register your product online. 09/20/2009
Great Value With 3600 Jules and 8 well placed outlets, this is a bang for your buck item. I finally have all of my entertaiment devices plugged in with outlets to spare! I have my TV, DVD Player, Bose Wave Radio, Wii and Sega Dreamcast systems plugged in. I also have the two wide spaced outlets available for my Atari 7800 and Atari 5200 systems. All of these devices work with no interference from one and other. The 6" cord is more than long enough to hide and organize all of these power cords under my entertainment center. I have not had this Inland Surge Protector long enough to experience a surge but there are 3 lights that indicate that everything is safe. The red switch light indicates that the power is on, the second red light indicates "Surge" protection and the 3rd green light indicates "Grounded" protection. The two minor drawbacks is that the power switch does not feel quite as solid as the other brand surge protectors that I had and a manual was not included. However, it does click on and off fine and the product information as well as the 800 service number is located on the back of the box so don't throw it away. If you are looking for the best surge protector for under 20 bucks, I would recommend this Inland product. 03/23/2011
