Wonderful curling iron I've had this curling iron for a week now and so far it works beautifully. I bought it because I'm getting married in 3 months and I needed a nicer curling iron to use than my old metal ones. It has a very smooth flow to it when pulling through your hair, unlike my metal curling irons that tend to snag.The four heat settings work really well for your type of hair and the style you want. I have medium-thick hair that does not hold curl well. I can curl it in the morning and it's usually flat by the early afternoon, but with this curling iron I still have some curl and bounce left at the end of the day. And I can adjust the setting if I want wavy hair vs. spiral-type curls.It heats up so fast. I usually turn it on 5 minutes before I'm going to use it and I can use it to curl my whole head! I used to turn on 3 different size curling irons about 20 minutes before I was going to use them and when one started to cool off I'd used the next one. This curling iron stays hot the whole time and I'm done with my hair in 10 minutes.The sleeve is also really nice to put over it when you're done so you don't burn yourself or burn anything else if it falls on the floor.The only problem I've had is that I sometimes hit the on/off button when curling my hair. Which I usually notice right away so I turn it back on and it doesn't seem to lose any heat. I haven't tested the automatic shut-off feature yet but it seems like a great feature. I have definitely come home to a hot countertop before because I forgot to turn off my older curling irons.I would definitely recommend this curling iron and I plan to by a couple of different sizes as well! 05/28/2009
Best curling iron for under $20! This has got to be the best curling iron for under $20!.. The quality definitely doesn't resemble the price. It is great. Gets super hot, performing professional salon-wise, the temperature setting is great so that you can customize depending on hair type. It gets hot very quickly and you can feel that the ceramic material isn't harming/burning your hair. I still can't believe how good it is. 03/31/2011
Doesn't Last I am going shopping today for a new curling iron as my Infiniti by Conair has already "died". This was not a cheap item and I think it should have lasted more that a year before needing replaced. It is a little less than one year old. 03/02/2008
WORST MONEY SPENT ON A CURLING IRON EVER! This curling iron didn't do anything to make my hair look good, AT ALL. From the first time I used it, I didn't like it. It gives off this weird smell, like the barrel is old and burnt. Let me just say that when you are done using this product, your half-curled mess smells worse than it looks. I will NEVER buy another Conair Infiniti product again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. i recommend the Remington Pearl Curling Wand. It works 1000x better than this thing. 01/19/2011
