Used on vacation in Hawaii It was our daughters first time to the beach so we were worried about her getting too much sun exposure and too hot.It's easy to set up and take down. You just have to position it that the opening/doorway isn't facing the sun and that the window screen area isn't blocked so the breeze can flow thru.She didn't get too hot and never got burnt (we did apply sunblock too).I would suggest a thick blanket or towel to put on the floor of it so if your child decides to take a nap, the blanket will be softer than the sand and that they don't get too sweaty.We did a lot of local parents saying how cool this product was! 01/26/2011
