    Customer Product Reviews

    Rated 4.4 out of 5★ by 25reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5★ by I was very excited to purchase this stroller... Did lots of research and finally purchased it. I just started walking on paved trails so I didn't need anythIing fancy but wanted something that would be more rugged than a normal stroller. When I recieved it in the mail it took me about 15 mins to assemble. Here are my complaints: 1. It says in the description that it comes with speakers for an iPod (I wouldn't necessarily use this feature) but it doesn't come with it 2. The front tire leaves very little space to put air in the tire.. I tried a bike pump and an automated pump and they were still too big- I was able to go to the gas station and filled it up easily there 3. The description also says that it has an adjustable handle- it doesn't... I contacted customer service on this one and they told me to push the red buttons on the side..the only red buttons on the side are to close up the stroller... I have just grown used to the height of the handle and got over it...overall for the price it is a good stroller... The back is a little hard but my son is adjusting to it also.. You get what you pay for and I wasn't willing to spend $$$$ on a stroller at this time 04/20/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great stroller for the price I was registered for a schwinn turismo and instep safari. I ended up purchasing this instep safari in this color (not my first choice of colors) because it was on a great sale! Tgis stroller is lighter weight than I expected, and the built in handles make it easy to pick up when folded. For my previos baby I had owned a Jeep 3wheel stroller....the instep is much lighter weight.Manuevers well, easy to push. Canopy can be puuled all the way foward to the child tray to keep the sun out of eyes. NOTE: the handle on this model is not adjustible in height or any other way! It is a good height though, tall enough for my 6ft tall husband who has bad back injuries and also a comfortable height for me (5'6"). Quick release wheels are fantastic because I can fold it up smaller for when our family of 5 goes on road trips in our small station wagon. This stroller was simple to put together. You do need a philips screwdriver for attaching the footrest to the frame. Our safety 1st onboard air 35 fits safely on this stroller. 05/31/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Five Stars for Value I bought this stroller so I could resume outdoor roller skating, a once avid activity of mine, only now with a three year old in tow. I have not actually skated with it yet, only gone on walks thus far. If you've been researching jogging strollers, then you know they are costly, and like all things you get what you pay for. I spent $100 online, free shipping with Walmart. Overall it's a good buy; constructed well, looks trendy, steers nicely, the adjustable shade is a huge plus, the parent's cup holder is really nice in that it has "grips" that hold your beverages snugly to avoid tipping. I like this stroller so far. There are a few cons though...the biggest being that the front wheel has the serious misfortune of its valve stem being in an almost unreachable spot, a common complaint I noticed. I went to AutoZone for help and the guy there was able to get some air in it, but with difficulty. I then tried getting more air in it at the gas station, but it was impossible. Finally, I spent $15 at the local Walmart for a bicycle foot pedal pump, and after raking several layers of skin off of my thumb just getting the stem out enough to fit the pump onto it, I managed to get the recommended 35 psi of air into the tire. The rear wheels were not at all difficult to fill. The experience made me question if the manufacturers test out these inconveniences prior to putting their product on the market. An added insult is the tires do not hold air. My daughter weighs 30 pounds; she isn't a very large child, and we've only walked around our neighborhood, but each of the three tires has lost 10 pounds of air already. I'm not looking forward to the refill process. The underneath basket is nice, but don't expect to fit much into it as there is a bar that goes right across its opening that prevents you from placing anything bulky under there like a diaper bag. You can slid things in, like a pack of cookies, a book, thin items, etc. The child's cup holder is not very deep, so a tall sippy cup has the potential to tip over. This stroller is heavy, for me. I'm not a big woman, but I consider myself pretty strong, yet I struggle getting the stroller out of our front door and lifting it into the back of the car takes a bit of effort. It's bulky and takes up a lot of room, unless you want to remove the rear tires, which can be done easily enough, but still it's an added chore. Presently the stroller is stored in a corner of our living room. My mother wants me to keep it in the basement, but I can't imagine lugging it up and down those stairs every time I want to use it. The seat is adjustable to a degree. Like I mentioned, my child is 30 lbs., I don't think it will hold her comfortably at 50lbs. which is the max weight limit. Even at 40 lbs., I'm wondering. To adjust the seat you have to pull on the strap behind the seat back, pull hard. The manual states to then push the clamp down over the strap once you have pulled the seat up to the desired angle. I found that isn't too effective. Rather I take the end of the strap which has a plastic loop and I attach that to a lever on the side bar, whose purpose I'm still not sure of, that has a hooked end, and it works out. Still, as we are walking along, I notice my daughter gets more and more horizontal, so that by the time we are home, she is either lying flat or she is gripping the front tray to aid herself from sliding down. Overall, it is a good stroller for the money. If you're able to spend $300 on another model, I'm not sure the issues I mentioned would be any different. So far, I'm happy with it and recommend it. I guess I just want to point out that this stroller, hence jogging stroller, is made for activities of exercise. If you want something that is light-weight, that you can easily fling into the car and aren't really serious about jogging/skating, etc...then spare yourself and just get a regular stroller. If you really want to get out there and use this stroller for a work-out, then I say it's worth the effort involved in transporting it, maintaining the tires, etc. 08/14/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great stroller This stroller is wonderful. Easy to setup...althought you have to put air in the tires because they come flat. Best part is it fits a baby trend infant carrier and has safety straps. 05/09/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Great so far It is much nicer than I expected for the price! I'd been looking for a used one until I found this one online for pretty much what people were asking for used ones. I'm not a "serious" runner, so I can't review the product for that. I do run/walk 2-3 miles a day and its perfect for that. It was easy to assemble and seems to be very sturdy and well made. 07/04/2013
