Rated 5 out of 5 by ChiefCooksALot Pilot holes needed in seats When assembling these chairs, a drill is a must. The seats are made from hard wood and there are no pre-drilled pilot holes. Simply use a small bit and make your own pilot holes.If you don't do this you will have difficulty and probably strip the screw head. Other than that, it's simple. All you need is a phillips screwdriver. A long handled allen wrench is provided in the package...These chairs are sturdy and nice looking and solid wood. ...I would recommend them. 07/20/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by ravendale Nice looking, wide and sturdy. At first i attempted to put the chair's together by my self....I did not succeed. I did accomplish assembling them but i had to wait for the assistance of my husband. The best thing about the chair's is that they are actually made of wood. They are very sturdy and much wider that i thought they would be, which is a plus is you ask me. I love they cherry color of the seat's, It's a very rich warm color. The warn look to the back and leg's of the chair's is very nice. Not to mention they are very affordable. I believe they are beautiful and would most definitely recommend them to some one else.My only complaint and the only reason i am rating 4 star's instead of 5 is that my husband and I had a hard time getting all the larger screws in. Most of the large screw's stripped, we had to use pryer's to get them in all the way. 06/15/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by xanipipherk Great chairs at a graet price These chairs are made of solid wood and are very sturdy once put together. It took me about 20 minutes to put together the first chair because I was being careful to be sure I was doing it right. The next three took me a total of 30 minutes using a cordless drill and the supplied wrench. They look good and and have a nice flat black finish with some red showing through the weathering. The seats have a glossy varnish and matched the table perfectly. I would recommend them to anyone. 07/19/2012
