It's suppose to chill to 42 degrees but the one i bought only cools to 52. I returned it to the store.

WHAT IS THE RANGE OF TEMPERATRUE SETTINGS?

Try to move it away from the wall. I'm having the same issue, it won't stay at low temperature and keeps going up.

You have two options: The first is the reset procedure given to me by the Igloo rep: With the unit plugged in, press the temperature UP button 7 times. Unplug the unit and wait 30 minutes. Plug it back in, reset the temperature and it should start cooling again.

Option two: Dump the unit in the trash. If the reset procedure doesn't work then you have to return the unit to Igloo for warranty repair. By my estimate the shipping and insurance costs are more than the unit purchase price. Repair time is 6 - 8 weeks.

Sorry, wish I could be more upbeat, but just went through this whole process with Igloo. I finally chose Option two.

I found that I had an item against the back fan inside the unit. This was blocking the airflow inside! Moved it forward, and it&#39;s cooling well now.

Lights are on but it will not cool, is it the fuse and if so where is it? Thermostat issues? I really like it and want it fixed!

No. The standard pinot bottles will only fit on the bottom row. It is a bit tight inside this unit.

Our large wine cooler quit working. We need another. Read all kinds of website reviews, which were all over the place for the same brand/model cooler. Decided to buy this small cooler while I continued my research. This small cooler arrived quickly and well packed. A wine geek friend advised me to let the cooler sit on the counter overnight without plugging it in and then, to allow it cool for several hours before I placed any wine in the cooler, which I did. After I added the wine, the temperature rose for several hours, then cooled down and has stayed steady. The cooler has worked perfectly every since.
Lots of pros: Quiet (very quiet), okay sliding-type shelves, easy temperature control, etc.
Some cons: Champagne, pinot and some longer bottles won't fit.
Overall: Recommend, especially for the price, delivery and ease of use.

Small counter footprint, big cooler kick

This was a gift for my best friend and she totally loves it. No complaints.

Wine keeping cool!

I originally bought this gift as a Christmas present but my wife wanted to use it right away.
The unit is deep enough to hold those extra long wine bottles and it holds the temperature perfectly. Runs very quietly.

It works great. However, if you are using this and temperature needs to be constant, be sure to use an power break alarm. If the power blinks/or shuts off for any amount of time, it resets to 54 degrees. An alarm to alert you of any power breaks will help. Otherwise, it is very nice.

Cooler

I like this Wine Cooler because it fits on my counter top, under the cabinets. I previously had one for about 3 years that was taller. There was only room for it right near the sink, which I didn't like.
The temperature seems to stay consistant and it looks good. I've only had it for 2 weeks, but am very pleased so far.

Fits under my cabinets!

I like the layout of this unit, horizontal versus most others that are vertical. It is very quiet and it keeps the bottles cool. I haven't checked the temperature with an outside thermometer, but it works well at cooling. It will hold 54 degrees on the display no problem. I only keep reds in it. I cranked it up to 62 because the wine I store in it seems to taste better at the warmer temperature. I would buy it again. I don't like the large igloo logo on the front of it. I've only owned it for a few weeks, so can't comment on its reliability.

Nice Layout

For the price the cooler is pretty good.  However, there are a few limitations you need to be aware of.  It does not take the taller bottles of wine.  Also, if bottle is thicker than most, you will find it difficult to put on the racks. Finally, you can't put it right up against the wall.  You need to have at least 8-12 inches between the back and the wall for the fan to keep it cool.  I could not get it below 68 degrees until I moved it away from the wall.  Now it cools nicely.

Pretty Good

Good product but was already broken when it came out of the box. Just opened last night and is going back today. Wire housing under door handle broken leaving wires exposed and the door Handle is cracked. I believe the package must have been mishandled in transit.

Good product

Product will be perfect once replaced, it was shipped as a gift and arrived damaged. It also looked as if it may have been already returned before as inside the packaging - the lables had been partially removed and tags were half torn off electrical cord. Out side package did have a small damage spot on the outside but actual product was not in new condition.
