Does this compact fridge have an interior light??

Emmerson makes a fridge with a lock on it. Not sure if WalMart carries that brand name.

I've never seen one but it depends on what kind of lock you are talking about. They have locks that help keep the freezer closed or kids out, these are simply plastic straps that buckle together and latch the door shut. The straps have adhesive on them to stick to the side of the fridge and on the door. I've used these before to hold my freezer shut, it works great, holds strong, had to remove it a few times due to moving on several occasions. Finally just wouldn't hold any more but lasted a great 5 years and would've lasted for much longer if I never had to remove it for the few times that I did. Now if you are looking for a fridge with an actual lock on it, I've never seen, but could think that you could buy a lock and latch with a hinge and install it on the fridge. The doors themselves though are very thin so don't know how much force it'd take in order to bust the lock without cutting it.

How about buying a big chain with a padlock and wrapping it around the fridge?

If you are handy at that sort of thing, you could install a desk type lock in the door yourself without too much trouble. Probably require a drill, screw driver and perhaps a dremel tool.

Whatever you do, do NOT drill for a padlock hasp. This will destroy the integrity of keeping your fridge cold inside!!

No, you have to manually defrost, but it comes with a little ice scraper. I've had it three weeks and there's no build-up so far.

This model is certainly not entirely manual defrost, to my knowledge. I had purchased two(2) of this exact same model: Igloo/Curtis 3.2 cubic ft., 2-door, stainless steel refrigerator, nearly one year ago. I&#39;ve actually been wanting to add my answer to this question for many months, and now I finally am. Candidly, I am rather perplexed whenever viewing all the many answers asserting it is only manual defrost, since both of mine are indeed partially auto-defrost. In fact, this is a beneficial feature that makes my family and my office&#39;s staff even more satisfied with daily use of this product. I truly wonder if other customers may experience different operation, as this is a very obvious aspect.

This fridge has a great size freezer, nice & square inside.
Glass shelves in the refrigerator area! Great Quality.
Item arrived via Fed Ex, they did a great job. We were hesitant to have it delivered to the house since other reviews complained of the stainless steel being damaged. 
It was packaged with foam board and protected. 
We were pleased with the item & shipping & handling. Would purchase again without hesitation.

Great Size & Quality

Bought this refrigerator to replace an 8 year old Sanyo brand. Looks identical with the exception that the rear cooling grid is enclosed in the cabinet. I read from other reviews that this unit is made by Curtis Industries, and states the same on the box, however, knowing that Igloo has licensed their name would cause me to believe the unit would need to pass a tighter quality control. The unit runs fine, temp is easy to set and is maintained there, quality is excellent. Compared to the Sanyo I bought 8 years ago at Best Buy for $230.00 !! this is an excellent value hands down. Regarding shipping damage, I had mine sent to my local Walmart in MD. The sticker on the box said it came from their distribution center in Benton AR. I found no damage on the unit, no dents, dings or scrapes. Can't speak for other's experience, but it seems if it's stocked by Walmart there is no issue with their own delivery. Would recommend, would buy again.

great refrigerator!

I am 55+ and just needed a small fridge for only myself - this one works great, plenty of room in freezer for a bag of ice, some frozen fries, and a little ice cream. A gallon of milk will not fit in the fridge, but I don't buy gallons anymore! The container for veggies is great, and the adjustable shelves convenient. The can holder in the door I could do without.

I had shipped to store so it would be handled correctly on a Wal Mart truck - don't bother - was shipped to MY Wal Mart by FEDEX, and looked like they drug it behind the truck. I avoid FEDEX when ever possible. Will search for product in store next time I buy.

I did buy the IGLOO brand as it had great reviews on durability on this site. I have had a smaller Black & Decker, worked good, but am very happy with the IGLOO I have now. Gets cold quickly!

Great Fridge for Single Person

I too read the comments about damaged upon delivery and was hesitant but pulled the trigger anyway. Very happy with the condition although there was a 1 inch line (dent) in one of the sides. I will take it! Actually was hard for me to spot as I had to look very hard to find it.

As far as capacity of fridge i was able to put 24-12oz cans and 21-16oz waters in with relative ease. I do not see a way to adjust shelves but got basically everything in there I wanted so didnt bother.

The freezer was a little larger than I was expecting and performance was better as well. I placed a 16oz water in the freezer and 1.5 hrs later it was almost frozen solid at coldest setting. That'll work. The size of the freezer is approx 16 inched wide, 16 inches deep and 8 inches high/tall.

Overall happy with the looks and performance. Maybe i got lucky? I dunno. One thing for certain, after receiving the unit, let stand upright for 2-3 hrs before plugging in.

looks and works great

I ordered this fridge to update and replace the one we had. Its very elegant looking fits perfectly in the space we had. There was a couple of things we didn't like, 1) The storage area is smaller than the one we had, however the freezer section is bigger than the one we had. 2) There is no option to adjust the shelve. =( So if you want a little bigger area for freezing items this would be perfect. All and all is good for an individual in an office.

Look at the photo uploaded by cyangge24. The dent is almost similar to what I have on my order. I think even though they knew it was damage they are still shipping it to other customers. I would have keet the fridge only if it has very small dent but with the dent like this NO WAY i am keeping it.
